Help Me - I've Been Out of Touch

I've been away from the boards and haven't really been keeping up-to-date on WDW since last summer's Disney Cruise.

Now, I am planning a trip to the Polynesian for April 2006. How do I go about getting the best deal? All I have is AAA. Was a Disney Club member before they finally killed it.

I expect to pay rack (or close to it) since we'll be going the week leading up to Easter, but will AAA get me a small discount? Should I buy park passes in a package? What about all these "dining options"?

Finally, any clues on ways to get a rehabbed room? This will be our 10th stay at the Polynesian. We've been going since the "pink and turquoise" days and would enjoy seeing the new decor.

If you haven't been on the boards for a year or so, then the ticket prices have gone down for longer trips.

AAA will get you a 15% discount I think. Maybe you should price at least one AP for your group, they usually get you the best discount. I bought mine in February and made up the expense and then some on that trip since my room was 40% off with AP rate. I have taken 2 trips since then and they were "gravy" in my opinion. Good luck!
