Help Me! I need to get back on track

I need a good system to organize my budget, my bills, and my monthly spending. Tried Ynab (think its what its called) and it worked for a while but become burdensome.

I love binders, love charts, love excel.

I have a hard time setting up my own system. Any suggestions?
 
I just use a Mic Word program my friend sent me and I love it. It has a place at the bottom for cc and how much you owe. It goes monthly and u input how much you get paid and your bills and it subtracts the amount. i just write vacation on one line to make sure it gets some money lol. pm with your email if you are interested
 
I just set up an excel spreadsheet. DH is paid every two weeks, so I set up our budget to be based on that. Twice a year he gets 3 checks in one month and those have become our main vacation savings, with bits thrown in here and there when I save $$ on something.

It is pretty easy, because I like my bills paid pretty much as soon as I get them. The same things come out of the first check each month, and the same for the second. It tells me at-a-glance what is due for that check. I can color in the squares if there is something that I am waiting for...and it stands out.

We are "old-school". Before the end of the month, we will do a budget on paper(DH gets paid 2x a month so we split the month accordingly). Than the cash goes into the right envelopes and the bills get paid online. Everything done when his paycheck hits the account;) We try to keep it simple.
