HELP HELP..our daughter has taken over our camera. its a great excuse for me to splurge & get a new one. right now we have a cannon powershot sd1200...
help me pick a new one, i need a nice quality camera, small size for less than $200.

We just recently purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 and love it. The camera takes great pictures and also HD video. The camera was $180 on Amazon, I think. We only purchased from Amazon as we had a gift card to use.

My husband has access to high end cameras at work and this Panasonic was recommended by several of the photographers he works with. We had wanted a smaller camera for our Disney Cruise and this one fit the bill. It even took great shots of the fireworks at sea.

I second this suggestion. We got one before our second was born and have been extremely happy with it. It isn't stellar in the dark but no P&S camera is. Super video quality and a decent price. We love ours!

I just got a fuji waterproof camera and like it for a P&S camera. Taking pictures and video in the pool with the kids brings a whole new dimension on what you can shoot.
