I thought I had everything planned out pretty well, until I realized that I don't have any meal planned for dh's birthday. It is on our last day, so I'm thinking that I have to do breakfast. I don't know....maybe I shouldn't change anything. We're there from 10/17-24 and his birthday is on the 24th. We're doing the Illum. cruise on the 22nd w/other family, so maybe I can just call that his celebration. Otherwise, I think we're already overbooked on meals, which is fine, I guess. Can you take a look and tell me if I should just cancel one?

I thought that maybe I could book b'fast at 1900 Park Fare since we've never eaten there....heard it was yummy. :)

Okay; here's what we have already:

Liberty Tree: dinner
Cape May Cafe: breakfast
Hollywood & Vine: breakfast
Crystal Palace: breakfast
Whispering Canyon: dinner
Yachtsmen: dinner
50's Prime Time: lunch
Sci-Fi: lunch

Can you tell we like a big breakfast??!! :yay: Thanks for any thoughts. If you think we're just fine w/what we have, then say so! ;)

Cancel one of the lunches and do a CS that day. If you can get Chef Mickey's that could be fun. Saw photo of a $16 cake that looked great. It was ordered 48hrs ahead. Non character breakfast consider Boma.

From keepers to losers......

Ok, for me, you can see what I would think of as the best and what I would think of as the worst, if I had kids. Maggie

I would get rid of Sci-Fi...it's our least favorite of those restuarants. Everything else sounds great! Enjoy!

Order a birthday cake for during the cruise and celebrate with the family!

Yachtsmen is not one of my faves for one of the finer restaurants at WDW....not consistent and I think there is far better food on property...

Have you thought of trying Raglan Road for dinner, depending on what time the entertainment goes on, you can have some fun singing and laughing and maybe even getting the entertainment to sing HB to your husband... Just my thoughts...

Sci-fi and WCC can be iffy at times. One of those you may want to reconsider.

Are you eating with children? I thought I'd ask since H&V is a playhouse disney character breakfast. Kona at the Poly and Boatwrights at POR have a very good rep for breakfast.

I was just talking to DF about cancelling Chef Mickey's on 10/22 6:50 p.m, It's for 5 people.
We have to take all the groomsmen to pick up their tuxes and it's going to be too much of a time squash to try and make the ADR.

If you're interested let me know :thumbsup2

Edit: Nevermind, see you have your cruise booked that night!
Enjoy!

It is a matter of preference, but if it were me I would cancel one of the places that we have done before and try something new- keeping in mind what your husband would like.
There is a Lilo & Stitch breakfast at O'hana at the Polynesian that we love. Chef Mickey's and Whispering Canyon Cafe may be fun choices as well for a Birthday Breakfast. When you make your reservations be sure to let them know it is your husbands birthday. Have fun!
