These last few days have got me going crazy!! I was at our vacation house on Wednesday, 90 minutes away from home when I got a phone call from the post office - "We have a box of pheasants here for you" AAAAAHHHHH!!!
The day old pheasants were supposed to be delivered a week from Wednesday. I wasn't ready, had to drive an hour and a half, set up the brooder, etc. I've lost 4 four of them since they arrived, I just couldn't quite get the temp right, etc I think I've got it under control now - but geez, it was on the order when I needed them delivered, why a week early???
Then last night I start noticing CARPENTER ANTS in my house!!
Great big ones!!! We finally found where they were coming in to the house, put out some borax mixed with powdered sugar. Now we've got to do our whole Spring Clean thing around the house this weekend to make sure we don't have any soil, tree branches, etc touching the house. OMG!! I hope they don't have a nest inside!!
Oh, and I had to have a crown replaced yesterday. Who knew that I could grind my teeth so bad that I could break a crown???!!! No stress here

You poor thing and I thought my day was going bad. Hope that the birds are doing better and ANTS ...hate them. As for your crown....so sorry. Hang in there sure things will get better. Shirley
