Help me get from GF to OKW for 8am breakfast tomorrow, pls!

We just arrived in WDW this afternoon and we are already very confused by the transportation. We have 8am breakfast reservations tomorrow at Olivia's.

I see that most things I find say to take the bus to Downtown Disney and then get on OKW bus.

But looking at a transportation map it looks like we could ride the monorail to Epcot and maybe a bus from Epcot to OKW?

If it makes any difference at all, we plan to spend our day at Epcot tomorrow

haha, my husband would love you! As we sat on the bus tonight coming home from Downtown Disney he was complaining saying how we'd be back at the hotel if we only took a cab! How much is a typical cab ride around the property?

we did the monorail from GF to MK and then the bus to get to Downtown Disney today so I can probably talk him into that again for the AM.

I don't think the busses to Downtown Disney run that early. I would monorail to MK and then bus to OKW. I would leave early, not sure how often they run MK to OKW that early. A cab would really be your best bet.

Nope, no buses that early. A cab is going to be the best bet.

No buses run that early to/from Downtown Disney. If the OP were going to use WDW transportation, I would say monorail to the Magic Kingdom right at 7, then bus to OKW, making sure someone in transportation management was aware they needed to get to that resort as quickly as possible.

But, yeah - cab

Another vote for a cab - no kidding.
That is not an easy route that early in the morning

It's approx 5.5 miles assuming the driver takes the shortest route, so the fare should be approx $15 plus tip.

For that early in the morning, you really are going to need a cab.

We took the monorail around 7:20am from GF to MK and then transferred to a the bus to OKW - we made it with 10 minutes to spare
