Help me find this suit!

Hi everyone!
I need your help! I am looking for a suit like this one, but can't find it anywhere! This is a suit by J. Crew, but they do not have it in df's size. (he is tall and slim, so he needs a 38L in his jacket, which is turning out to be very difficult)
I don't mind getting it online, I just can't find it! We finally agreed on a suit so I really hope I can somehow

girl, all i can say is google is your friend! as i love that suit and tried in relentless and varied ways to trick my husband into loving it as well, i searched high and low for similar options. did you want the vest? i mean the vest is kinda what makes it extra awesome, but it seems to be the trick part of the deal as i could find lots of similar looking (on the interwebz) suits but not with a vest. so have you tried mens wearhouse, any department store, maybe even something like bluefly (if they have guy stuff)? i mean, i'm probably not helping, but if its the tallness issue, it might be easier to find then say a taller, wider option? if price is less of a concern, i would try any more modern suit seller - i think there was a similar calvin klein suit i saw somewhere (nordstroms, nieman's, maybe saks?) or something like hugo boss?

anywho - did i mention i lurve me that suit?

Oh I am IN LOVE with it, and am on a serious mission to find something like it. I found similiar ones, but they just dont offer it in his size. Checked Mens wearhouse and they don't have it. Checked Calvin Klein, and they have something similar, but of course, not in his size. And I do love the vest. If I can find it with it, GREAT!!! If not, I'll be ok as long as I can just find it!!

ok. i know nothing of mens clothes sizes. does your man have strangely (in a good way) long arms? i had to run off and google suit ideas and back came all these memories of how tough it was to find the combo of the color with a more modern fit. i did find this at macy's -http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=449323&CategoryID=17788#fn=SUIT_STYLE%3DSuit%20Separates%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D34
which could be kinda close, but its hard to tell for sure. however no 38L or whatever it was. maybe can you get the j crew and have it sized down? i'm sure their menswear runs smaller like their women's clothes do, but maybe you just have to alter if you can find it?

He is just super tall with really long arms. And because he is so thin, he needs a "thin mans" jacket with a "big mans" arm length. Does that even make sense? I find when he tries on a 40L (which is a common size) it makes his head look really small and awkward

I may just have to go with the "getting it tailored" option, which I was trying to avoid.
I like that suit, but the reason I loved the suit I posted (well besides the obvious) is that it doesn't look like a business suit. I work in a bank and I have to see these kinds of suits every single day, so I did not want to see it at my wedding

It's so awesome. I just love it, and df and I AGREE on it, which is no easy task. Now finding it, that's the fun part.

Have you found them anywhere? Or anything like it?? I'm still on the mission to find it!

Love this suit as well ...my hunny is also doing grey. We had the hardest t time finding a lighter grey option...right now Express has a suit that is striped...Hunny tried it on and it looks great...

However with your DF's size...you may have issues. I would have him try it on...if it's only a slight alteration go for it...I know alot of the major department stores like Macys and Nordstroms will alter suits even if you did not buy it from them...Another option would be just to wait it out...The lighter color suits start coming out in sprig/summer time frame...HTH

No problem! Always here to help! If the sleeve length is just off by a tad letting it out is fairly inexpensive...another place to look is JCPenneys. The carry the Longs in jackets. We actually got our groomsmen suits here...These are great. They are actually a modern fit and are similar to the way jcrew and express suits are cut..

Great!! I'll definately check there!! That's exactly the kind of fit I wanted, like the express suits fit!
I'll wait until the summer though so there will be more lighter gray suits
