Help me find this football - please!

My DGD9 is asking for a football for Christmas. She said its a smaller size that the 4th and 5th graders use, its looks like a regular football (brown), but it has a "squishy" or padded covering on the outside.

I tried a google search but couldn't find anything like that. Any ideas? Thank you for your help!!

My brother used to have something like that. I think it was made by Nerf. It looked brown and solid, but was nerf foam inside.

I thought it must be nerf too, but she said its not nerf. Its like a "real" football, but with soft padding on the outside.

My DS12 loved those nerf weather blitz footballs at that age.

Any other ideas? I was hoping someone might have a son or daughter with a football like she described.

How about having her parents check with her gym teacher? I'm assuming that's where she's seen it before. If not, maybe the gym teacher will know what she's talking about anyway.
