Help me find Jillian Jiggs Update

Hi I was looking on ebay for pig books for my daughter Gillian and came across these books about Jillian Jiggs. I can not find them in the USA. I was wondering if you knew of a online book store that might ship them to the US?

UPDATE: I found some on Ebay. We are getting JILLIAN JIGGS , Jillian Jiggs to the Rescue and The wonderful Pigs of Jillian Jiggs. Thank you to all that helped and have a great day.

Hi! I just checked the websites for Amazon.com and for Barnes & Noble and they both carry them. I just punched in Jillian Jiggs and they listed all of the books they have available. I am sure you can get them in the States. I am a kdgn teacher and we LOVE reading about Jillian's antics. Sadly, the author Phoebe Gilman, passed away in the last couple of years and I don't think they'll be many more!

Oh no, I didn't realize that Phoebe Gilman died . She was such a wonderful writer. I love reading the Jillian Jiggs books to my classes.

Ok I have called all around and have checked the websites for Borders and Barnes and Nobles. They all don't have them. I am going to the used book stores this weekend. But here is the question...I noticed they have them at amazon.com/canada am I able to order from them and have it delivered to the states.

Jillian Jiggs books are the BEST! I use to work in a daycare and LOVED reading them. They loved them all. The Big Snow is cute. She also has a book called Something From Nothing, and it is a story about a boy who's grandfather made him a blanket when he was born, and they kept making it into other things as he got older (eg a jacket, a vest, a tie, a hankie) the cuest thing is though at the bottom of the pages there is a family of mice who use the scraps to do the exact same thing. Makes me miss the kids!

Michelle ... I too checked on Barnes and Noble and I don't know why they wouldn't be available ! So I went to our Chapters / Indigo website (which is a big bookstore chain here in Canada) and they do deliever internationally. I too love Phoebe Gilman. Apparently she passed away from breast cancer and leukemia on Oct. 23, 2002 at age 62. Very sad. She wrote some beautiful books. As well as Jillian, she had a beautiful one called Something from Nothing and the Balloon Tree.

We always love the original Jillian Jiggs of course ... and then the Pigs has to be right up there too. I used to teach grade 2 and I had the kids make the pigs at home with their families. I just printed out instructions and provided the basic materials and then they brought them in. We were creating characters, so it was a lot of fun. The families really got into it!!

I just ordered a bunch of them from the June Scholastic book order. My students love the stories!

I also love the Pheobe Gilman books. My children have read those books over and over again. I would offer to hand them on...but I'm just not ready to part with them. The kids are a little older now and we started reading Judy Blume Fudge books around the camp-fire last summer. We are slowly making our way through most of her books.
