Help me find a minion!

We will be there in a week and I have a small child who desperately wants a picture with a minion. I looked on the app and I don't see a specific Minion meet and greet. Do they meet as part of the Hollywood Character meet and greet? Does anyone have any guidance on how to find a minion???? Thanks

I don't know if there is a fixed schedule, but I have met and had a picture with a minion at the exit of the Minions ride (there is a little dance party area there). You may be able to go into the gift shop and see if there is one you can meet without doing the ride.

Found this on a UK website about traveling with kids (hope it's an OK source to post)-

When you enter Universal Studios park in Orlando Florida the first main ride is on your left just after the entrance. This is Despicable me Minion Mayhem. Once you have ridden the 4D ride you exit via the shop. This is where we found our first Despicable me/Minion meet and greet. If you don’t want to go on the ride you can still meet the character in the shop. They do swap around the characters.

Your best bet would be to ask one of the team members in the super silly fun store (at ride exit). They may be able to assist you with a schedule for the minion appearance. FWIW, when we rode the minions ride this trip, Gru and the girls were in the dance party section of the store but no minions.

Sometimes the different parade floats come out individually and do a small show and allow pictures with the characters afterwards. I have seen the minions there in the past.
