 sorry, I can't seem to figure this myself, but I just got through looking at all the point charts for a one bedroom and the cheapest and best bet for me and my DF is OKW. Check in Sunday January 7, 2007-Check out Friday January 19, 2007 (total 11 nights)

The way I'm figuring it is that we are there for just one weekend and looking at the point chart I saw that for a week a one bedroom is 160, each weekday 16. I totaled it to be 224 points. Am I right???????????

Is this a good choice for a couple of honeymooners? I'm really nervous about renting points b/c I've never done it. What should I do to make sure there are no mistakes or problems with renting? Thanks for the help!!

I count 12 nights. 10 weekday nights plus 2 weekend nights.

10 x 16 = 160
2 x 40 = 80

Total 240

I'm not staying 12 nights though, I went back to the calendar and double checked and still counting 11 (9 week nights 2 weekend) Boy do I wish the point calculator was working  Sorry, I wish I knew more about this

Yep, my figures match Debbie's. CaskBill is a moderator on the boards who has a program (free) which will calculate your points for you. Just highlight the dates at the resort in the tyoe of unit and Bob's your uncle. You might look at that to try different permutations for your honeymoon if you're trying to minimize costs.

Sunday Jan 7 (check-in), Friday Jan 19 (check-out)

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday = 5 weekdays
Friday, Saturday = 2 weekend
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday = 5 weekdays

Oh my lord!!! My DF just counted and gave me this duh????? look! Thanks Debbie :rotfl2:

I get 240 points. OKW is a great relaxing place, and the Jacuzzi is a lot larger than the ones in the other DVC resorts. Definitely large enough for two, if you get my drift! ;)

I definitely catch the drift....can't wait to try it out :Pinkbounc

We are going to shave off a day though so that we are there 11 nights rather than 12. That way we have a whole 3 day weekend to get things in order before we go back to work.

That just makes it that much more ecconomical! Have a great wedding and honeymoon!
