Ok, I'm trying to figure out how much I make take home pay per day. I'm a salary employee who works 40 hours per week, gets paid for holidays, etc, Monday thru Friday.
I'm just going to make up some numbers, but you get the idea.
Let's say I get paid twice a month, on the 15th & 30th of each month. I take home $1800 each paycheck, so $3600 per month. This is after taxes, 401K, insurance, etc.
3600 * 12 months = $43,200
Now, is where I am stuck. How many days do I count or do I just divide by 365? I don't think I want to divide by 365, only working days? How many?
I know other factors come into play like 401K, etc., but I'm not worried about that right now.
I'm trying to figure out how much I make per day after taxes compared to what I'd be paying in daycare.
TIA!
