Help me DL vets- what to do about EMM when I don't have it

Are you saying that all year long that there are no MMs offered on Wednesdays, but there could be EMHs for on-site guests?
DLR has two different early admission options: Magic Morning (MM) and Extra Magic Hour (EMH). Currently, both are offered year around and the similarities always ends up confusing people. MM is available to any guest with an eligible ticket (it's usually some type of 3-day or longer pre-purchased ticket) and is usually offered on Tue, Thu, and Sat mornings in Disneyland. EMH is usually offered to onsite guests (those staying at DLH, PPH, or GCH) on Sun, Mon, Wed, and Fri in DCA and on Tue, Thu, and Sat in Disneyland. So essentially, Disneyland has EMH and MM on the same days, while DCA only participates in EMH.

For Disneyland, only select attractions in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Main Street are open during EMH/MM. In DCA, the attractions are more spread out, but basically includes all of the major attractions (e.g., Soarin', TSMM, Carsland, GotG, Incredicoaster, etc.).

Why are Wednesday’s the best time??

Wednesday is not part of any four day weekend

Folks who arrived Sunday are exhausted by wednesday morning and choose it as a sleep in morning

Wednesday is that catch-all / loose ends day where families are meeting other family members who are flying in to join in the week long gathering

Just waned to comment that we did Saturday EMH at DL on Dec 22 with 12 people and we were able to do Buzz, ST, Pirates, HM, IJ, BTMR, Matterhorn, Break and eat at Plaza for Breakfast at 10 am then did RSR, Grizzly and where back at the hotel by 3 pm after doing some shopping in DtD. All with the help of MP. I am not familiar with how DAS works. But I do not think you have to stay on site in order to be able to ride RSR.

I think having a plan on what you really want to ride and knowing what you can skip and are ok with not doing. I usually keep track of wait times through out the year, yes my family thinks its weird, but you can never be too prepared. It helps me know what normal wait times are especially during busy times. It also helps me plan out my day.

I would do DL(Mon), DL(tues am) DCA(tues pm), DCA (wed). And also just be ready to park hop based on MP available and how busy the parks are.
