OK, bear with me. Back when the free dining came out I ran some numbers and got us a fabulous deal and I mean fabulous! Approx. $400. for 6 nights at ASSP, free dining and 2-AP's.

So I told DH and even he was quite impressed, enough to mention it to the kids. Well, time was winding down so I booked it and paid my deposit.
Now, here' where it gets tricky.

2 weeks before we would leave we have our annual camping trip. So DH says he is taking that week off or the Disney week, but not both. He brings home his vacation form and we talk about it all and he decides no Disney, camping instead. I can understand that because he likes to camp and actually couldn't take the week off last year (because of a Disney trip) so he would meet us everyday after work. I knew he really wanted to camp so I told him to take those dates. He knew I was thoughouly bummed though about not going to Disney.

So yesterday I asked him if he turned in his vactaion form and he said not yet. I asked why and he said he just couldn't do it. I was like "ok, whatever". Then he says he loves me. I say I love him too. He says no, you don't understand how much I love you.

So now I'm thinking he's rethinking the whole vacation thing. Would you think that too? I haven't cancelled my ressies yet, I didn't dare because I guess I was hoping he would change his mind or he would tell me to take the kids alone (which I really wouldn't want to do without him)

What do you think? Am I reading something into this that isn't there?

I think you have a great DH who is thinking he needs to go to Disney with you ;)

:scratchin hmmm sounds like he is up to something.

But what?? Maybe he is thinking of doing Disney with you, but he is torn because he really wants to camp.

Maybe you should have another talk with him.

Just make sure you get it all worked out in time to get your money back from Disney.

Because it's been so slow at work lately I had asked him to talk to his boss about taking both weeks off but DH nixed that one.

I just wish I knew, but I don't want to ask him again because if that's not what he is thinking I don't want to sound like I didn't accept his no before. You know..."what part of no don't you understand." LOL

I've given up trying to figure out men. And they say that WOMEN are difficult!!! :teeth: Sounds like you have a very nice husband. Let us know how it all turns out.

OK...DH popped back in before heading to the office (he was working in the neighborhood before) so I "reminded" him to put in his vacation form. So he says how much again would the Disney trip cost? I said $400, well a little more because I added a night. He then asked what are the dates again? So I showed him on the calendar. Then he says...........how about I give you the Disney trip as an anniversary present. :thumbsup2
Our anniversary is this Sunday. I didn't want to act too excited because I guess I did kinda feel bad about the camping trip. I mentioned that and he said he was going to put in for both weeks and see what happens.

I did have to promise him though I wouldn't mention any other trips until February. He said if I did I may just not wake up one morning.....it happens you know. LOL
I told him I wouldn't mention anything Disney unless it was about the great time we had.

I knew this man was a keeper!

Why not just camp at Disney?

We have a very old pop-up with no AC. Not good for August! LOL

Plus where we go every year is like a pilgramige. We go the same week every year so the kids meet up with friends and have fun. This camping trip is non-negotiable. LOL

Wow! That is great! He was just trying to drag it out so he could give it to you as an anniversary present.

He seems like a good guy, congratulations!
