I have the four night booked right now for next March. And we are going to go to Disney for 1 day before and 3 days after and stay at the Dolphin. But now I am reconsidering doing the seven day and doing just one day at DW before. My question stems from the fact that we am going to have a 5,4,2, &1 year old with us. Do you think that the 7 days on the ship will get to be too much of the same thing for the children. And would they enjoy splitting the trip up more? Thanks for your help!

We did 4 nights at Disney and then the 3 night cruise. Of course we were exhausted from DW but we never got bored on the boat. They can rest if they want, the older ones can go to the club, mine loved the Mickey pool, they saw Piglets Big Movie, and there are lots of other movies, lots of characters etc. If they haven't been to Disney World much then I would split it up, if not then do the longer one. WE are doing the 7 night now. My girls were 14, 5, and 4 when we went.

Thanks for the info. Buckaroo's Dad, the 4 year old is my nephew. But yes we have been busy:D And thanks for the welcome !!

Funny you should ask this....I just asked my 8 year old nephew and 4 year old niece if they would rather go on the cruise or to WDW. Both said the cruise, and I asked them seperately. They have done both, but they LOVE the cruise! I would go for the 7 day cruise unless this is the only time you will get to go to the World....:D

When we went on our first cruise our kids were 8,4,2,1 and we had a GREAT time! The 4 year old spent little time in the club because she knew the other two were with us! We didn't do any excursions, just went to various beaches and shopped a little and spent most of St. Thomas day on the ship. We were soooooo busy the entire time it just seemed to fly! The two little ones did nap some, mostly on the deck chairs. We were all worn out and in bed asleep by 10 every night I think. We all had teary eyes leaving at the end of the 7 days! The 2 year old talked about the "big boat" for months and when we returned two years later they all remembered it! They prefer the cruise to WDW also.

Actually, I just asked for a quote for a 3 day cruise in April 04. Just me and two 9 year olds (will be 10 then). This will be the first cruise for them so I thought I would start easy. Am going to DW also but think I will make those reservations myself cause we want to stay at ASSports and make the flight reservations myself.
