Help me decide....

We are staying at BLT for 4 nights in April. We were thinking of coming down a day early, but no rooms available at BLT. I might see if we can stay somwhere else for that 1 day, and then move. How easy does Disney make this to do (keep in mind we have a 10 mo old daughter). Your thoughts......thanks!!

We stayed at POP for 2 nights before moving to BLT for 6 nights last September (we didn't have enough DVC points to stay for all 8 nights at BLT). Disney made it very easy. We contacted bell services at POP and asked them to move our luggage - we gave them our room number at POP and told them we were moving to BLT.

On the day in question, we left our luggage in our room and went off to the parks. When we got in to our room later in the day at BLT, we had a message on our phone to say that our luggage was with bell services. We called them and a porter brought our luggage straight up. Fantastic service!

You just need to make sure that you keep enough supplies that you need for the day in a day bag as you probably won't get your luggage till 4ish.

We got excellent airfare from Jet blue($124. round trip from Rochester, NY... direct flights & 1st checked bag is free!) but are leaving a day earlier than originally planned. We booked a MK view at BLT at 11 months, but the extra night wasn't available at 7 months. We could've booked a standard or Lake view, but since we would have to change rooms, we decided to stay the 1st night at VWL. This will be our 1st time staying there. We're looking forward to checking it out... we love Whispering canyon Cafe... have an ADR for Breakfast there.

Bell services does a great job transferring bags for you. Good Luck!
