Help me decide which to pay OOP.

I'm trying to decide which meal to pay OOP for on our June trip. It's DH, me and DDs 3 and 6. We have the dining plan for 6 nights. I have 7 TS meals planned. I know some will definitely be better to use the dining plan , but as I looked on allearsnet at their menus, I'm not sure which way to go.

We have lunch planned for Teppanyaki one day and the Beirgarten another day. How are the lunch portions at Teppanyaki. If I let my DDs share the meal, the I think it's cheaper to pay OOP for this meal. It looks like most adult entrees run around $13. Does that sound correct? Does anybody know the portion sizes for the kids meal at Teppanyaki?

We have TS dinners planned for both of those nights. We have to pay for all four of us at the Beirgarten and it looks like around $50. Can it be done for less at Teppanyaki?
Any suggestions would be helpul.

I went through the same thing planning our trip in October. I crunched numbers and went back and forth.

What it all comes down to is this: Anytime you can pay OOP for a lunch versus a dinner, do it. It will be cheaper and you probably would rather have an appetizer, entree and dessert for dinner versus lunch anyway.

We paid OOP for 3 meals I think when we went. One was lunch at Biergarten, another was lunch at Rainforest Cafe, and then we also paid OOP for lunch at Chefs de France in Epcot one day. We just like eating at table service more than counter service so we didn't mind paying OOP for some and then using our counter service meals that were leftover for breakfast in the food court. I don't know exactly how much lunch at Teppanyaki would be, but just compare prices and decide what would be the best fit for your family.
