Help me decide which resort @ Christmas!!!

Hey everyone! I need some suggestions. On our trip last week I upgraded our MYW passes to Annual Passes. I am thinking of booking a 7 day trip in December. It is going to be a surprise early Christmas present for my husband. We will get a really good discount at all the resorts. I just want to know which would be the best for us newlyweds!

Help me decide!!

This December??? if so your decision is going to be made by what you can find. Most if not all Disney resorts except for the high end suites are completely booked.

Christamas time is about snow and the fireplace kinda atmosphere to me... Wilderness Lodge!

I said "other" in your poll because the best place to be at Christmas has to be the beautiful and festive Wilderness Lodge. My DF and I are going December 23 to 30, 2008...can't wait, wish we were going this year, but it's worth the wait!!!

You should probably remove "other" from the options.

If I thought there was any availability at the time I'd vote "other" and recommend Wilderness Lodge.

Having toured the resorts at Christmas, I thought the Boardwalk was the most beautiful. We'll be at the Dolphin this year, which is pretty good too.

I voted AKL because it is our favorite Disney hotel. We always stay there or the Swan at Christmas. We like the AKL at Christmas because of the unique decorations and the less harried atmosphere. We choose the Swan when the AKL isn't available because of the location, the view of the MGM Studios and Epcot fireworks on New Year's Eve, plus about four or five other fire works displays and the use of the boats to get to the Studios and Epcot. We like the Swan's smaller scale better than the Dolphin. We always set aside one evening, usually NYE to tour the other resorts, and head back to our room for the evening. But we like the AKL best of all.

However, with all of the construction that is going on at the AKL, I think I would go with one of the other resorts this year if I were you. We are.

I voted for the beach club. If you are newlyweds that to me seems just the place! My hubby loves it too. I haven't stayed at the BWI, but for the $ you are in about the same spot and are able to go over there for entertainment, meals, or whatever. We have been to the BC twice and really enjoyed it. We got a standard view room-ask for one on the end by the elevator and quiet pool. This is right by the laundry area- very convenient- and it's closest to the IG to Epcot.

I voted other, for GF, it is absolutely gorgeous at Christmas and very warm and inviting. However, any resort in Disney at Christmas is pretty

Thanks everyone! I actually found availability at the WL which was my top choice hotel! I booked it this afternoon!! we will be at the WL from Dec 15 to Dec 21!!! I can't wait! I love Disney at Christmas!

Last year we stayed at the CSR for Christmas and we absolutely loved it. This year we wanted to try a different hotel so we are doing the AKL.
