Oh, I was a happier (but probably poorer) woman when I used to just plunk my money down without doing all this research! Help me figure my best option for Seaworld here.. and if you know any other little tricks, please pass them on!

Seaworld tickets, purchase online at Seaworld Orlando website, 7-day advance purchase, tax NOT included: US $53.77 adult, $43.20 child
Questions: the website won't give me the tax-included total till after I enter credit card info... anybody know what taxes would be included? (I know, I can bail out before actually purchasing, but I don't like to give cc info unless I have to)

Mapleleaf tickets, buy online, 7-day advance purchase, tax included: US $58.95 adult, $47.95 child. Is it safe to assume this is pretty much the same as the Seaworld site, only with the tax added in? Is that how Mapleleaf works?

Seaworld tickets, buy from CAA Maritimes at listed member price, at par offer for nondiscounted 1-day admission: CN $63.64 adult, $51.12 child. Good deal IF I don't have to pay $15 HST. Not so good if I do. Before I get on the phone and spend 20 minutes navigating voice mail jail, does anybody know if I'd have to add HST to that?

Help! Hoping for enlightenment.

I found this site. With an At Par deal.
atpar.ca

Candismom, have you done any business with those folks? I went to the site and it COULD be okay... but there were a few things that made me suspicious...

1. When you go to Contact Us, basically it says, if you have any questions about your tickets or purchase, contact the theme park you've bought tickets for (in other words, you CAN'T contact us, the folks who took your money)
2. There's a liberal use of Anheuser-Busch, Seaworld, Busch Entertainment logos as if they're an official ticket distribution outlet, but I can't find any links that go from Seaworld to this site. So how can we know if the tickets are legitimate?
3. Ultimate bummer... under FAQs, it says that you have to pay with a credit card issued by a US bank! What's the use of an at-par offer if they won't let you pay with a Canadian-issued credit card?

I would love to believe in this. Maybe I'll try following up on that Florida-issued license they display at the bottom of the site.

No I haven't used them found the website I think here last year when I was planning for my trip in March. They had no specials when I was going. But if you go to seaworld.ca it comes up as the same website. Maybe call seaworld and see if the deal is real. I know how you feel about ordering online. I just ordered my disney tickets through ticketmania.

Hi Candismom,
the atpar.ca website is official...there are ads for it in alot of CND travel brochures.
If you go to the official seaworld orlando page, it links you up to the same website without the CND offer.
THey offer a 15% discount if you prepay off of the official site.
whichever is cheaper right?! :teeth:

You shouldn't have to pay any HST on the Cdn. @ Par deal as the tickets are not being used in Canada. You can also get the same deal at the gate at Seaworld if you want. Just show Canadian ID and they will charge you the US equivalent of the CDN @Par price.

Just another option for you....

If you become a rapid rewards member through south west airlines, you can save 20% off the admission at the gate for up to 4 people. I have always found this deal to be the best one. I

If you are someone you know has CAA check with them they usually offer at par on Seaworld tickets so you can buy before you go.

I found this on the seaowrld site.

Fun card
Pay just a few dollars more than daily general admission and come back again and again with unlimited access in 2005. Options are available that include Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.
$64.95 adult $54.95 child

I am planning on getting the fun card for Busch Gardens Tampa later this year. I was told by Busch Gardens that the fun card used to be only for Florida residents but now anyone can get it. Since Seaworld is owned by the same company I assume that anyone can get the fun card.

I was checking North and East Ontario CAA website and they have a link under the attactions they have a few deals
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay & SeaWorld Orlando 2-Park / 5 Day Pass At Par 92.56 for adults
SeaWorld Orlando Single-Day At Par Pass $47.80Adults
SeaWorld Orlando "Be A Kid Again" Receive a One-Day Adult Admission to SeaWorld Orlando, for the price of a Child One-Day Admission. Offer valid on any regular operating day during the 2005 season. Adult (Ages 3 & Up) $48.00
SeaWorld Orlando CAA Single-Day Ticket 10% if buying online $53.78
Good Luck I'd love to go to seaworld too but doing disney and universal this trip. Don't have enought time to do all 3.
