Help me decide POP, AOA or POFQ

I'm doing a split stay in December and currently have the first 3 nights booked at POP and the rest at BLT. Thought it would be cool to use the skyliner for 3 days. How good is POP? or should I upgrade to AOA or PORFQ without the skyliner? Thanks

The Skyliner is also used by AOA, but I would still stick with POP if that is your main reason.

I’m not so sure AOA is an “upgrade” from Pop unless you mean more space. AOA rooms are feeling a little worn.

I would skip the value resorts altogether if cost isn’t a concern. The moderates are a huge upgrade over the value resorts so I’d just stay at POFQ. You can still ride the skyliner from any of the locations.

If you're really interested in the skyliner I would stay at POP. If it comes down to the resort itself I would pick POFQ. We've done two stays at POP and it's a decent enough resort, especially with the updated rooms. We like the amenities better at POFQ, though.

I vote for Pop! I love Pop! Much more convenient than POFQ. Why miss out on the Skyliner in December, when the lack of AC won't be an issue?

I personally prefer POP over AoA. The Little Mermaid rooms are the only non family suites there, and we felt like it was quite a bit of a hike to the main building and buses. You could always visit there if you just wanted to see the AoA decor, as it is really cute. POFQ was the first resort I ever stayed at and it will always be special to me. It's gorgeous and small, but I love POP almost as much. So I would say it just depends on how much you want to spend; POP does have newly refurbished rooms.

I have stayed at all three. 2 times at Pop, 1 time at AOA, and 6 times at POFQ, so you can see which one is my favorite. Since you are only at POP for three days and want to experience the new Skyliner, I would keep the reservation at Pop and enjoy the new way to get to the parks.

I say POP. We've stayed at both POP (connecting rooms) and AOA (Cars Suite) during the past 2 trips. I love the theming at AOA but POP was so much less crowded. We walked over to AOA from POP on our last trip to eat and explore. The whole vibe was much more chaotic at AOA, the pool, the walkways, the food court. I guess when staying at AOA you don't notice it. However, going from POP over to AOA is was very noticeable. I don't think it was anything particular about that evening that would have caused it, but much more relaxed vibe at POP.

Pop was recently renovated ( I think all rooms are completed but someone will be able to correct me if I am wrong ) which is a plus. The pool here is also pretty cool ( you can hear music underwater ).

Unless you are going to upgrade to a family suite at AoA, I'm not sure it would be worth it. Little Mermaid rooms are about the same size and in the back of the resort which means lots of walking at the end of the night.

POFQ amazingly themed. The rooms are a bit bigger as well which is always a plus for us when we are there. It's the smallest of the moderate resorts, which is also a plus.

I agree with @themayor - I'd skip the Value resorts and stay POFQ. You can always hop on the Skyliner at the International Gateway and take a ride over to one of the resorts for fun.
