I am currently planning a trip in October. Please help me decide which resort to stay at.

Here is what is left for the Fairtale Vacation deal - which is selling out very very fast:

Wilderness Lodge - Courtyard View
Yacht Club - Water View
Animal Kingdom Lodge - Savannah View

Our dd's would probably be happiest at the Animal Kingdom Lodge but I feel it is too far away from everything else & not a good variety of restaurants. Boma is good! I'm just not sure I want to eat there every day!

DH would be happiest at Wilderness Lodge - again this is a resort that is really far away from everything else.

I would probably be happiest at Beach Club but its n/a. I am leary about Yacht Club. Is it really as stuffy as its rumored to be? Of all three I feel this has the best location and pool.

Thanks for everyone's opinion! And can I just say that the Fairytale package is the best thing disney has done years! I usually have to save for years to stay at a deluxe! I am so happy!

Jennifer, you will LOVE the Yacht Club...I didn't feel it was stuffy at all when we were there! And the pool, as you say, is fabulous. Add Beaches and Cream, proximity to Epcot and Boardwalk, and it's a fantastic choice.

Go for the Yacht Club! It wasn't stuffy at all. It was gorgeous. And it's practically attached to the Beach Club. The pool can't be beat and if you can get the waterview...it's to die for!!

You have 3 great choices there, I don't think you can go wrong!

The resort has a great bus system, we never waited for more then 10 minutes for a bus. Plus there's only 1 stop and the resort has it's own busses so the rides are pretty short even though AKL is technically father out then the other resorts. The Mara has a variety of foods, some things aren't on the picyure menu, like plain pizzas and such, you just have to ask for them. They even made my DD a grilled cheese one night.

Another great resort! lol. The boat ride to MK was really very nice and quick. We just got back from the CR and I thought it took us about the same time to get to the MK on the boat at the WL as it did on the monorail from the CR. You can also boat over to the CR all day and use the monrails from there if you want.

We're going to the YC this August and can't wait! We've been there many times to walk around and eat, I didn't find it stuffy at all! And like you said the location is incredible!

Sooo I'm actually no help, maybe you could put it up to a family vote or pick one out of a hat? lol.

Go for the YC!!;)

The decor is darker but it is just as beautiful as the BC and just as enjoyable! If you love the BC, you will surely enjoy the YC just as much! Plus as you know, you cannot beat SAB:p

TRY BOOKING ONLINE, WHEN I CALLED DISNEY THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE ROOMS FOR THE FAIRYTALE PRICE, WHEN I WENT ONLINE I BOOKED CORONADO SPRINGS 7/4-7/14, IT WORTH A TRY.
GOOD LUCK

I would most definitely choose the Yacht Club with the water view. It is very convenient to both Epcot and MGM, and there are so many nice options for eating and entertainment just a short walk away.

I am with you on the AKL, it does seem awfully far away. The WL just doesn't appeal to me asthetically, and we weren't impressed with the transportation. The pool and lobby was nice, though.

Hope you have a wonderful trip to WDW, and whichever resort you choose, I hope that it more than meets your expectations!:)

The Yacht Club has that gorgeous view going for it, as well as the huge balconies. It is right up there on my list as the best Disney has to offer. Don't hesitate and put on your white yachting attire!
