We are doing a quick two night stay in March and I am looking into renting points if deals arent released soon. My choices are bLT or AKV

Will be two adults and two kids and an infant.
One MK day and one resort day.
what would u recommend. studio or one bedroom?? why and which resort??
thanks

Because you are doing one day at the Magic Kingdom and are traveling with 3 children, one being an infant, I would do BLT for simplicity reason since you're so close to MK.

the blt studio are tiny - now they are bigger than a value resort and I think most of the moderates - (just not CBR)

that say alot of the room went to the kitchennett and bathroom (which is large for a studio)

so a family of 5 - here well you could do it but room wise very tie.

at AKV studio you can do either standard (which is pool view) or savannah view - now I have never done savannah view because with all the view places (big windows all over the place) - you can see the animals w/o using extra points (money)

now the value is like the BLT studio - they are smaller and can't see a family of 5 being happy here either.

but the standard or savannah room should work okay

a studio has queen bed, sleeper (full) sofa - you need to make you return the bed to the sofa every morning. otherwise the room will feel very, very small.

the 1-bedroom has king bed in the master - queen sleeper sofa and chair bed in the livingroom - both AKV and BLT have plenty of room in their 1-bedrooms.

Thanks. I am so torn as I like the location of blt but the theming of akv.

Sounds like a studio will be too tight right??

think at AKV you will be fine in a studio

now for blt would go with a 1-bedroom if you can afford it - if you can't the studio will work - just be sure everyone in your party knows that you are all crowded and it is only for 2 days.

It is three kids and my dh so studio would be cramped I think.
Looked into suites at aoa but can rent points for cheaper.
blt/cr is my dream resort but wondering if there is enough to keep kids busy on resort day??

I am going to say AKV - 1 bedroom, so much to do at the resort and you plan on spending a day there, also the studios to me would just be to small for a party of 5, either way you will have fun! Both AKV & BWV have a great pools

Is there even availability on points at BLT; March is only 6 months out.

Although AKV is my favorite DVC resort I would go BLT 1 bedroom for the location.

If you have a car, consider a studio at OKW. Lots o' room and two queen beds, not one bed and a sofa bed. And less points too! You could likely rent a car with the money you'll save on points.

yes I can get studio and 1 bedroom just not standard view :(
