Let me start by saying I have all my ADRs, but want to change two.

We are eating at...
CRT-breakfast
Crystal Palace- dinner
Le Cellier- dinner
Boma- breakfast
Cape May-dinner
Norway-dinner
Prime Time Cafe- lunch

I need to change Cape May, and Norway. I don't eat seafood, I am highly allergic to shell fish, and the only reason I picked Cape May is for the characters, and dh likes seafood. I want to change it to something off property, that we can make a later ADR to, and it be sort of fun. I was thinking either Ohana's, or WCC. (we are staying at WL)

I also need to cancel Norway. We were only eating here for the princesses. I made an ADR yesterday to have breakfast at CRT, and just paid opp. Dh will not be joining us for that one, but my Orlando friend will. (she is a CM, so she doesn't have to worry about park admission, she gets in for free). The food at Norway doesn't sound appealing, and Dh really doesn't care about princesses. I just want to eat somewhere good, it really doesn't matter what park, or if it is out of the parks. I was thinking the new Kat Kora place. Any ideas??

I am going to make my changes on Monday after DH, and I talk.

Can't beleive I am picking out where to eat 5 months from now!! LOL

Since you're staying at WL, what about Artist's Point for dinner? I think their food, service and ambiance are great. It will be somewhat more expensive than Cape May, but in an entirely different league. Sanaa in AKL would be another good choice.

I would like to do Artist's Point, but were on the dining plan, and I don't want to use 2 credits for it. I think I will talk to Dh this weekend, and maybe we can pay for our last meal oop, and try Artist's Point. I think the has something romantic planed that night we want to go, so we could use kid's night out, and end it with a romantic dinner. He may shoot me if I bring up Disney though, lol. UGH!! Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!

Well, I don't think Cape May has characters at dinner anyways, so it's a good thing you're changing it!

Did you mean a restaurant not inside a park when you said off property? I'm assuming so since you mentioned 'Ohana and WCC.

Maybe Kona Cafe would be a good idea for an outside the park, 1 TS credit meal. They have some seafood dishes, so your DH might like that.

As for somewhere else good to replace the Akershus princess meal, I would NOT go to Kouzzina, Cat Cora's place. I tried it on Halloween and it was the worst meal of our trip. Everything was severely over-salted and the service was poor.

I enjoyed Marrakesh Restaurant in the Morocco pavilion at Epcot. I know you're already going for breakfast, but dinner at Boma was really yummy. Coral Reef at Epcot was nice. Yak and Yeti at AK is pretty good. The other places I would suggest are both 2 TS credits - Citricos and California Grill.

the park option is at The Wave at the Contemporary. Their sustainable fish entree is often black cod (sablefish/butter fish) which is one of me favorites.

I like the idea of Artist Point. The food, service and atmosphere are all great. If you can convince your husband to switch then I would look at Boma breakfast and 50s PTC for OOP. Artist Point is considered off the beaten path and it is usually easier to get an ADR closer is if you change your mind at a later time.

If you want a character meal I definately recommend Chef Mickeys

I talked to Dh, and he wants to try Raglan Road, is it on DDP? If not, I think we are going to go to WCC at WL. Decisions, decisions!

Maybe Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare?

I second this. Chef Mickey's is a must do for us for each trip. We've eaten both breakfast and dinner at 1900 Park Fare, and enjoyed both. I prefer the Cinderella experience there to CRT.. the food was better, and you actually got to spend time with Cinderella.

I'm not sure I'd go with Kouzzina. We ate there in Oct. and had very good service, but I felt my dish lacked any sort of greek seasoning, and I read a PP say their dish was very salty. At the time I considered dropping the ADR because the reviews were so up and down. If you choose to go, just keep in mind this place is Cat Cora inspired rather than it being a Cat Cora restaurant. Iron Chef food it is not.

Raglan Road is on the DDP, we are trying it for the first time in three weeks. Whispering Canyon has good food and would be easy to get to.
