I'm feeling the Disney Blues please share a story of pixie dust or a magical moment that happened to you during your WDW trip!

Our first trip was January 2015. It was a Xmas surprise for my kids. When we arrived at POR, we saw a CM holding a sign with our name on it! He said we were the Royal Family of the Day and we got a free upgrade to a Royal Room! We were feeling the pixie dust overload! It wasn't as nice as free dining plan, but for our first time and not knowing entirely what to expect, that was pretty special.
Now we are hoping to go back, maybe next June (2018). That's a ways off, but I really think I've been bitten by the Disney Bug, because I've been spending a lot of time thinking and planning Disney!

That is so amazing!!!! What an experience!!!

We got home on 7/7 so this was recent. I'd read about pixie dust, but what could a 50+ childless couple get?

At Nine Dragons on the 4th of July, it was so hot that we skipped dessert even though we had DDxP. Waitress brought us two bottles of water to take away.

At AK the next day, I was hot and nauseated after riding Expedition Everest. Stopped for a coke at a cart and when my magicband didn't work, the CM gave me the drink.

The trip was paid for with a small inheritance from my mom. We kept finding pennies from heaven.

On the last night, during an Uber ride, Bruce Springsteen was playing on the radio. My mom loved Springsteen. Thanks Ma.

I'm feeling the Disney blues too. We returned from our 1st trip to the World on 6/25, so fairly recently.

One of the ADR's we'd been looking forward to was Chip & Dale's breakfast at Garden Grill. As we were waiting at the bus stop on our way to Epcot that morning, I had a voice mail on my phone from a Disney CM that Garden Grill was unexpectedly closed. We were so disappointed! Since we were already at the bus stop, I figured we'd still head to Epcot and talk to guest services and see what our options were. They were able to get us a reservation at Akershus for the same time we had GG booked. Thankfully DS9 had just discovered a newly formed crush on Belle, so he wasn't sad when he saw her right at the entrance to the restaurant. I don't think his smile disappeared for the rest of the day! As if that wasn't enough, our waitress was amazing! On this trip, we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and DS's 9th birthday, which had been the month before. Sofie brought out a birthday card for DS that had been signed by the princesses and a cupcake. It was just the kind of thing that makes Disney and it definitely helped take the sting out of not being able to have our planned breakfast at GG. And we were able to ride FEA with minimal wait right after!
