We are planning a 12 night trip over Thanksgiving. DH will be attending a conference the weekend after Thanksgiving, which is allowing us to stay for so long :cool1:. I've pretty much got ADRs made, but I feel like they are MESS right now!! We'll be on the regular dining plan. We are HOPING for FREE DINING. If free dining doesn't happen, our 12 night trip will be shortened to eight nights. We also need to decide when we're attending MVMCP. On that day we will not go to park and waste a "park day" on our tickets. We will have 10 day base tickets, so we will not go to a park on our arrival or departure day, either. Here are the ADRs and Park days I have right now. Days where I have more than one ADR, I need to cancel, so I only have one ADR:

Wednesday, November 14th: Arrival-- no ADRS as of yet, no parks.
Thursday, November 15: Epcot or MVMCP or MK?? (Late Breakfast: 1900 Park Faire; Dinner: Garden Grill, 6:30 pm)
Friday, November 16: DHS (F! package: Mama Melrose Lunch 12:35pm)
Saturday, November 17: AKL (Dinner: Whispering Canyon Café 6pm)
Sunday, November 18: MK (‘Ohana late Breakfast, 11:25am)
Monday, November 19: Epcot (Le Cellier lunch 1pm, Akershus, 6:25pm)
Tuesday, November 20: AKL (Boma, 6pm)
Wednesday, November 21: MK (Chef Mickey’s late breakfast 11:20am)
Thursday, November 22: MK (‘Ohana Dinner, 6pm)
Friday, November 23: DHS (Sci Fi Dine-In, 5:55pm)
Saturday, November 24: Epcot (Late Breakfast 1900 Park Faire 11:40am; Lunch, Le Cellier 1pm, Dinner, Garden Grill, Candlelight processional, 3:20pm)
Sunday, November 25: MVMCP (1900 Park Faire late breakfast, 11:40am)
Monday, November 26th: Departure day-- no ADRs, no parks

So, obviously, we only want to keep ONE 1900 Park Faire breakfast ressie-- I think I would like it to be on the same day as MVMCP, so either 11/15 or 11/25). We also need to decide if we want to keep the CP package. Using two credits for a meal just SLAYS me, but DH really wants to see the CP this time, and we'll be there on opening weekend, so I'm thinking it's a must. If we keep the CP for Garden Grill, then we will cancel the earlier GG ressie, and may not even go to Epcot that day. We're not huge Epcot fans, except for all the fabulous restaurants!! Also, on the 19th, I need to decide between Le Cellier and Akershus (or I guess we could cancel another ADR and keep those two). We don't have girls, but I really wanted some princess time for ME!!! MOMMY NEEDS PRINCESS TIME :love:!! Anyhow, my boys would go, and they would be ok with the characters (we've done 1900 Park Faire at dinner 2X's and they liked it), but it obviously won't be their favorite. Oh, and BTW-- we like the "late breakfast thing" for breakfast character meals-- we eat real breakfast in the room, and then have "breakfast for lunch" at the character meal. It works for us :thumbsup2! So, help me turn this mess into a workable touring plan!!! --Katie

Wednesday, November 14th: Arrival-- no ADRS as of yet, no parks.
I would keep this with no ressie, unless you have a nice restaurant in your resort. Arrival day it's best to relax, get settled in and rested for the park days ahead

Thursday, November 15: Epcot or MVMCP or MK?? (Late Breakfast: 1900 Park Faire; Dinner: Garden Grill, 6:30 pm)
MVMCP is usually quieter during the weekdays. Locals tend to go on the weekends so I'd go with a weekday party. Only think, it's your first day in WDW so would you want to stay at resort all day prior to the party?:confused3

Friday, November 16: DHS (F! package: Mama Melrose Lunch 12:35pm)
:thumbsup2

Saturday, November 17: AKL (Dinner: Whispering Canyon Café 6pm)
:thumbsup2 This is a good time. After dinner, you can go down and see if you can see the animals on the savannah outside the hotel

Sunday, November 18: MK (‘Ohana late Breakfast, 11:25am)
Are you going into the parks after the reservations? You'll lose alot of park time if you're going in the parks and leaving again. For a reservation this late, you won't get into the parks until 1PM.

Monday, November 19: Epcot (Le Cellier lunch 1pm, Akershus, 6:25pm)
These two reservations aren't that far apart. You know your family and how you usually have meals but for us, this would be too close together for two heavy meals.

Tuesday, November 20: AKL (Boma, 6pm)
Good time choice. Again, you can check out the animals again after the meal.

Wednesday, November 21: MK (Chef Mickey’s late breakfast 11:20am)
Same query as before, in regard to losing so much park time with travel there and back.

Thursday, November 22: MK (‘Ohana Dinner, 6pm)
Are you going to be happy leaving the parks early, prior to Wishes or does MK close early?

Friday, November 23: DHS (Sci Fi Dine-In, 5:55pm)
:thumbsup2

Saturday, November 24: Epcot (Late Breakfast 1900 Park Faire 11:40am; Lunch, Le Cellier 1pm, Dinner, Garden Grill, Candlelight processional, 3:20pm)
Depending on what you're doing on other days will depend on what you cancel. Le Cellier and 1900 are very close in time for two heavier meals. Could you do Le Cellier today and just keep Akershus for your other EPCOT day? You could pay out of pocket for Akershus and use your DDP to pay for Le Cellier

Sunday, November 25: MVMCP (1900 Park Faire late breakfast, 11:40am)
If you're doing the party, keep the 1900 ressie, otherwise I'd cancel it. This would free up your extra credit for an extra meal.

Monday, November 26th: Departure day-- no ADRs, no parks

I would keep Le Cellier and Akershus and possibly cancel another reservation. You want to do the Princess meal (for us a princess meal is a MUST!) and Le Cellier is great. Unless you can change the times or days, I'd keep both.

Hope that helps!
