Help me choose!

So the DH and I are planning our next trip for Jan 2009. Our last visit we stayed at POFQ, and it was beautiful, but I still felt it was a waste considering we spent very little time in the room. (I mean, we're at Disney!!)
I'm used to staying at FW, but the DH would prefer a room (spoiled former cast member!). So I'd like to stay at a value, which I tell him will save some money that can be spent elsewhere (like souvenirs for me LOL) So I wanna know which do you prefer. (We don't have kids so that's not a factor in our choice) Pop Century, All Star Movies, or All Star Music?

They are all basically going to be the same, just a different theme. I recently stayed at all-star music in a family suite and really enjoyed it. From what I have heard, it usually has fewer children as well if that makes a difference. We didn't have any problems with the buses either.

Pop is newer and has better transportation.

We've stayed at all three and at POP nine times. We love AS Mu!!! It was recently rennovated, has awesome theming, good food, really cute pools, and the buses are not bad like you always hear. POP is really big and is not comparable to the size of the AS resorts so having one bus for POP and one bus for a couple of the AS resorts together is still moving about the same number of people. Many of the times when riding the buses to and from the AS resorts we have not shared with other resorts. Leaving MK and Epcot, each AS resort has it's own bus line, not all three together.

You will love the theming of AS Music!!! We spent a lot of time walking around and taking pictures in the different areas.

I've stayed at both. ASMu is smaller and feels less crowded. I stood more on the POP buses than the ASMu buses, so I definately don't think POP has better transportation. I think Jan is a good time to stay at either resort, so just pick which theme you like better. Pop does have the advantage of the lake, if you like to walk around the resort. ASMu rooms were recently refurb'd, so they are as nice as the POP rooms. It is also fun to walk from ASMu to Sports and Music. The theming is very fun to look at. POP does have frozen coke, AS Mu doesn't. ASMu has powerade.

ASMu is very close to AK and is farthest from MK. POP is a bit more centrally located, IMO.

I like them both, so its a close call. During a crowded time, I would chose ASMU.

Truthfully, transportation is one of my big things. So much so it almost makes me want to stay at a monorail resort (almost...lol) When we stayed at POFQ sometimes we had to wait upwards of an hour for a bus....in january......yeah.

We stayed at POFQ the third week on January and never had a problem witht the bus. We have stayed there other years but always in January and never experienced any issues with the buses. Have had some GREAt bus drivers-real fun!!!!

I love Pop. It is the newest of the value resorts and has it’s own bus stop. I also view my room at Disney as just a place to sleep so I save the money and go with the value resorts.

We stayed the last week of Jan/ first week of feb. I guess thinking back on it it was more towards the first week of Feb. There was a marked difference. I don't mind waiting a reasonable amount of time but it gets frustrating when your standing in a park and the other resorts around you have had 2 or 3 buses already. It did however give us a chance to chat with other guests, so that was cool.

I chose Pop Century because we were supposed to be staying there but then we heard about the deal that you can upgrade to moderate for only 300$ But Pop Century looks great... especially if you have kids!
