OK so I really fancy watching wishes from somewhere other than the park - away from the crowds

How good is it watching from the beach at the Poly? I can't decide between that or making an ADR for CG and watching from there after our meal

I think the girls really fancy the beach but I just wondered how good it really is for watching the fireworks

Which would you choose?

All I would say is don't bother with Bay Lake Towers.

The fireworks are actually set off quite far away from the castle, and if the angle isn't right, the effect is lost. They really need the castle in the foreground to create the right image and story.

We stood on the special 'members only' gantry at BLT to watch the show, and it was a big disappointment. The best place is still in the park, near the entrance by the railway station. Always busy, but it's worth it IMHO.

we wtahced it at ohana during our meal and it was great. they pipe the music in

we also watched it from the beach at the poly so we saw the water parade and wishes which was also good

We watch (usually) from the Tomorrowland bridge, but I have to agree: our personal preference is to watch it in the park.

We watched Hallowishes from CG last year and it was a good view but like BLT it was a bit off. Still cool to see how far spread out the fireworks are and just how many go off.

This year we have an ADR for Ohanas so going to try poly beach for the first time.

The best overall effect in the park for me is either in the hub for hallowishes or at the end of main street infront of the flag pole for normal wishes.

my favorite place is outside crystal palace. Have seen them from both the poly and caligrill and although very good as they pipe the music I prefer it in the park.Have watched from the bridge by tomorrow land as well but not as good as by CP.

seen them from quite a few places
but for us it has to be main street

and a nice coffee and carrott cake in the bakery afterwards to let the crowd out

If you are set on watching it away from the parks have you considered booking a Wishes Cruise.

We have done a Wishes one and an Illuminations one and have thoroughly enjoyed them both. The big plus from your point of view would be that once the display is over you get a nice relaxing trip back to whichever resort you set off from - avoiding all the crowds.

We have also watched it before as we got off the ferry at the TTC. As we stepped off the ferry the music for Wishes started as they were piping it into the jetty. We then stayed there and watched it acorss the lake, beating all the crowds to the car park once it had finished :thumbsup2

Thanks guys.

We'll be watching them from the park one of the nights and also the Halloween fireworks too at the MNSSHP

I just fancied seeing them from somewhere different so I think we'll nip over to the poly and watch them from the beach

I've taken note of your suggestions of the best places in the park too :thumbsup2

Great Info....Thanks :thumbsup2

Sorry what is TTC ??

We normally watch from Main St - USA around the railway station area but it gets so busy and crowded then you get a mad rush back to the bus stop area, So fancy trying somewhere else this year,,,,

No it's the bit where you can buy tickets and catch the monorail or ferry from to MK.

Narcoossee's is another excellent place to see the fireworks and the Electric Water Pageant. For the fireworks they dim the lights and pipe in the music. We were there in December and had a very good view from our table. There is also a veranda that wraps around the restaurant so you can go outside to see the fireworks if you wish.
