We are taking our first trip in January :cool1: and I get to make my ADRs soon! I'm looking for some advice. Here are the meals I'm planning on so far:

Chef Mickey's
Coral Reef
LeCellier
Crystal Palace
CRT for breakfast (hopefully!)
Ohana on our last night

I need one more dinner ADR. Can you all recommend a restaurant that would be both good food and fun/entertaining for our daughters (ages 2 and 4)? I was thinking about either Teppanyaki or Whispering Canyon, but I was just reading the negative thread about WCC.... Any thoughts or advice on a last restaurant for us? (It needs to be 1TS on the dining plan). TIA!

What about the Princess Story Book in Epcot? They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have not been there yet, but will in Sept. I have heard great feedback. Since you have daughters they may enjoy this. We will have to post after our Sept. trip on what we thought. Just an idea Chris
Good luck! :dance3:

With kids those ages I would recommend Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey. Akershus is absolutely wonderful though and they get the princess experience for only 1 TS, CRT is 2 TS no matter which meal you go to. So it's not on your list but I would say Akershus for your little ones!

ITA! You have two young daughters -- seems perfect to me. The food was MUCH, MUCH better than I thought it was going to be -- actually very good!

If you don't want a princess meal, but want GOOD food at a character dining, try Garden Grill at Epcot. That's the revolving restaurant one. We loved it and the character interaction is more intimate because of the way you are sitting and we LOVED the food!

1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderella and Friends would be great for your daughters. It's buffet style and your daughters will be guaranteed to see Cinderella if you can't get CRT.

We love the Akershus lunch. The princesses are great, I took my DD 3 there last year and she loved it. (I did too!)

But, for a "must do" dinner ressie? I'd pick Kona at the Poly. It is one of my favorites. Have fun! Happy planning!:goodvibes

When our DD's were also 2 and 4 we went to:

CRT
Chef Mickey's
Biergarten
Whispering Canyon
Crystal Palace
1900 Park Fare Dinner

They enjoyed all of these places. Last year we did Akerhus for dinner which they enjoyed as well as LeCellier and Hoop De Doo which they LOVED. Ohana breakfast was a hit as well.

Have a magical trip!:goodvibes

This would be a lunch ADR but with your kids ages I would highly recommend Hollywood and Vine character lunch at MGM. If your kids watch playhouse disney, they will love it! When we were there, it was Leo and June from Little Einsteins and Jojo and Goliath from Jojo's circus. The characters come to the tables but also dance with the kids. It is a ton of fun for preschoolers!

They also have a breakfast for this. My DD (2) loves Jojo but we're not sure yet how she'll react to characters (last time was a little iffy with everyone but Goliath)

Like many said, I think the Princess Storybook in Epcot would be great. We haven't been there yet, but will be in January.
