Which of these would you choose? (Sorry I am not survey-savvy, otw I would have posted this with a poll).... (B/c we want to leave the kids at a Kids' Club, I have narrowed down our choices to rest's that are in resorts with Kids' Clubs ):

Artist Point / Cub's Den (WL)
Boma / Simba's (AKL)
Jiko / Simba's (AKL)
Citricos /Mouseketeer Club (GF)
Yachtsman Steakhouse (YC) /Sandcastle (BC)

Any others?

I would say not Artist's Point- DH & I were disappointed here.

I have never eaten at the other places. Sorry!
Is there a kid's club at the Contemporary? If so, I would vote California Grill, that's our must do every trip!

We are putting our 4.5 yr old in Neverland Club, then going over to Epcot to Le Cellier. I know its a bit of a trek, but, we are driving down, so we can either drive from one to another, or walk over to the Monorail and take it to Epcot.

Out fo those I would go for the Yachtsman Steakhouse and Sandcastle. Artist point has great appitisers and dessertsa, but the entrees let it down.

AAK! I can't believe that I haven't been to any of your choices! I did Boma for breakfast, but not for dinner.
Out of those, though, I would pick Yachtsman. I love a steak and I have heard good things about steaks there. I understand it is also a romantic type atmosphere.

How about a real splurge with very fine dining at Victoria and Albert's?

Actually, IMO, all of these restaurants are good. IF, however, it's a "just the two of us" meal I'd go for either Jiko or Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Just something about the atmosphere of these two places that is making me pull in that direction. You would not be disappointed in any of them though.

I would choose Jiko/Simbas. We LOVE Jiko and I've heard that Simba's is one of the better kids' clubs.

My DW and I have dined with just the two of us many times at WDW since the we are now "empty nesters". Both Jiko and Boma have very good food, but IMHO Jiko would be more romantic (and expensive ;) ) and more a "fine dining" experience. Boma is larger, more noisey and a buffet.

Artist Point is a favorite of ours. We have celebrated several special occasions there with and without the chiildren and will likely do so again. :)

Thanks for the input, everyone.... It looks like Jiko is a pretty unanimous favorite.... I'll have to call today to ck availability!

Thanks again DIS'rs! :hippie:

Jiko. We've always enjoyed dining there.
