Hello! :wave2:

So our next trip probably won't be until next year :sad2: but it's okay since I basically just got back!

So here's the time periods I'm thinking of for our next trip:

1. End of September through beginning of Oct. (Anytime really between Sept 22 and Oct 16. Or something around those dates)

2. Beginning of November (8th-18th) anytime in there

3. Dec 1-10th (mine and my boyfriend's anniversary is the 2nd)

Has anyone gone during any of these time periods?? We would be staying at 'most likely' POP or AoA.
Our past trip was Jan 3-9. It got CHILLY and the weather was so unpredictable..so i'd prefer a time that's warmer and more predictable temperatures! Also, a time that's not too busy!

Any advice helps!!! :goodvibes

I would vote for #3. We went this past Dec from 12/7-12/15. I can't say if there will be great weather every year during that week but we lucked out and it was a little cold in early morning or at night but it was 70s and 80s during the day and the only time it rained was for an hour our last night. If you go this time you will get to see all of the holiday decorations and experience MVMCP, CP, and Holidays Around the World at EPCOT. The Christmas Parade taping is the first weekend of Dec so you could see that if you want and a few days after it the MK tree goes up. It was a little crowded but manageable. Also, I don't know if they do this for dating anniversaries or just for wedding anniversaries but you might have some special surprises if you let them know it is your anniversary. Good luck!

I've been twice in December, once the 1st week and once the 2nd week. Great weather both times. Hot during the day and cool at night.

Next year we want to go in September or October so that we can go to MNSSHP.

As a Floridian #1. Your past the terribly hot season and Disney is very slow(for Disney) durning this time period.

I vote for December also. It has become an annual thing for my DH and me. In 2010, I was there with my aunt and it got very cold (30's one night). But the other three years were very comfortable. Last year we did go swimming one day. This past December, we could have gone swimming one or two days if we had wanted to. The first year we went was when we thought that it would be a one time thing---we just wanted to see it for Christmas together. We've made it back both years since then! I think we would miss it tremendously if we didn't go back!! We just love having that special time together. Also, I LOVE Osborne Lights!!

It depends on what you are looking for.

Went end of Sept this year. Crowd wise it was great, walked straight onto almost everything. If we waited at all, it was no more than 15 minutes, but 75% of the time it was straight on, even for headliners. It was hot, but not too bad. My main issue was that it rained almost the whole trip, so be aware that is still the rainy season.

Went in mid December this year, the weather was nice for touring, but too cold for swimming or rides that soak you. Crowds were manageable with planning, but not like Sept. I enjoyed the Christmas decorations, holiday food, etc., and Mickey's Christmas party. I'd go again for Christmas it was fun, but if I was just planning a trip, I'd pick a less crowded time to go.

My personal favorite is option D. Mid May, right between spring break and summer, there is this hole of about 2 weeks where crowd levels plummet. The weather is nice, warm enough to swim, but not hot enough to melt. The crowds are light, and it isn't the rainy season yet. It's my favorite time to go, but requires not having kids still in school as this is about the time exams are given right before school lets out.

# 3 then # 2.

I don't think I could stand the heat and the rain even if the lines are almost non-existent.

We went three times during mid-November and it was usually warm, sunny and moderate in crowds. It's my second choice only because the Halloween decor is down and the Christmas stuff isn't up yet!

This is the first year we are going in early December but we have visited three times during mid-to-late December and now it's our favorite by far! The crowds vary but are usually quite manageable with a little planning.

We're not pool people so swimming doesn't interest us and doesn't affect our decision making.

Actually I don't think you will go wrong with any of these; maybe think about your preferences for the heat, rain, swimming and resort seasons.
