Help me choose a week

We can't decide between these 2 weeks

11/8 - 11/14: includes Veterans Day and I would only have to pull my daughter out of school for 3 days instead of 5. Probably nicer weather and decent weather to drive from New York.

11/29- 12/5: will have an extra day to travel and will get to see all of the Christmas decorations.

Any thoughts?

I might pick the 1st week since it will be a little less crowded plus it will be F&W until 11/10.

Been there, Done that! Once kiddos were in Middle/High School they didn't want to miss 5 days.

3 days was less stressful for them.

We're often there for the first week you mentioned. We love it. The weather is still nice, and the crowds are relatively low, especially after the weekend when the F&W festival ends. Often Christmas decorations will start coming up that week as well.

I think we just decided to go the same dates as your first picks! (within a day or so).

We had the same dilemma, except our kids are grown and now that they are not going with us, I think we'll swap to Veterans week instead of T-day week as I would feel bad not being home for the holiday. I was told all but the resort decorations are up and no candlelight Processional sad1 but it's cheaper, and maybe FD.
