Well some of you know I love the arts. I last posted about a public high school for the performing arts. Since then, another school, A Catholic one, has started a new arts program as well this year for those who are currently grade eights. This time, I have more options.

I can either take:
Vocal music (singing)
Drama (acting)
Photography (self explanatory)

I really would like to take vocal music, because it's something I absolutely love. My second choice would be photography, and then acting. My friend is also going to an arts school, at least she is planning to, but to a public one. My other friend is also going to try getting into the same school I'd like to go.

I made a choice, and I really would like to go. I mean, what's the point of going to a regular high school if I have the choice to go somewhere I should have fun? I've got nothing to lose.. which means I have everything to gain.

The problem is I'm not sure what to audition for. If I go for singing, there are slim chances I'll make it into the music buisness. Unless I go for like Canadian Idol or something. :p But I love singing. The same thing goes for Drama. I think I'd rather go for vocals than drama though. But photography is something I could really do in the future, and it's really interesting to me.

So, I think I just narrowed down my choices to vocals and photography.

What should I go for? Something I love, but have a slim chance of using in the future, or something I like that I can really use in the future.

:confused3

I think I would go for something I "absolutely love". You may not end up being a singer, but then again, you may not end up being a photographer. But if you study music you could always sing in a church (if you belong) or in community theater for fun or in a band with your friends. You may end up in an entirely different career.
