I am taking my son who will be turning four to WDW for the first time - and as his birthday trip - next Saturday.

He has loved "Light Light McQueen" for the past year. We have collected everything we can get our hands on and he has been beyond excited about this trip so he can meet "Speeb".

I just found out and confirmed with Disney that the rumor that Lightning is gone from DHS and will be out for the next 6 weeks is true. My son has been crying since we told him about it on Monday.

On another board, someone suggest I come over here and see if I could find out if someone knew how to make a letter and make it look like it came from Lightning, telling him that he is sorry he missed seeing him this time but that he had already scheduled his big race in CA before he knew we were coming. I want to make it look like it got slipped under the door while he is sleeping at night.

My son is still holding hope that Lightning will suprise him by being there, but today I found out that isn't going to happen. Does anyone have suggestions about making the letter - or anything else for that matter to help lessen the tears from this situation?

Thank you very much!

Cutiesnana designs letters. Maybe she can help you.

Wish I was going soon to WDW and take whatever is created, print it out and mail it from WDW...

Thank you very much for the "catch you later" paper. I will use that to write him a letter. I'm sure he will be so excited! Thank you very much!

Cutiesnana creates adorable letters - she maybe able to create a special one for your son due to the circumstances.
