Help!! Luggage panick!!

I thought it was time I started packing as we're leaving on sunday but I'm confused, on the tickets my mum has for Eurostar it says we're allowed 2 pieces of medium sized luggage per person but on the eurostar website this is not stated anywhere, how big is medium when it comes to luggage? Has anyone been stopped for having too big a suitcase?? The case I plan to take is 28" wide, is this too big??

Hi belle's beauty we went on the eurostar about a month ago i too was panicking about the size of my 26" case but i didn't see anybody having their cases checked for size, just remember you might have to lift it into some racking on the train!! Anything else you want to know don't hesitate to ask

we have got two suitcases - i would say larger then medium size - two holdalls a buggy and my handbag

i think they are ok with this, they were last time (feb), and we bought another suitcase and halodall to nring all the goodies back in

dont bear thinking what we will bring back at christmas

Thanks for that Mixednuts and everyone else, I'm going to risk taking my 28" one now anyway and a friend of mine suggested I take a big bag for me as hand luggage even if I don't use it there so I think I'll do that too, only 2 days to go now....I'm so excited!!!!
