HELP! Looking for recipe for MVMCP cookies

I'm looking for the recipe for the free cookies that were given out at MVMCP. My family loved them and I would like to make them at home to bring back some of the magic. Does anyone know where I can find the recipe? Thanks!

My mom said she thought they were a snickerdoodle. Hope this helps.

Not really- what's a snickerdoodle?

A snickerdoodle is like a sugar cookie rolled in cinnamon.

Snickerdoodles

1c Crisco Shortening
1 1/2 c + 2 T Sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups sifted All Purpose flour
2t Cream of Tarter
1t baking soda
1/2t salt
2t Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients except the 2T sugar and 2t cinnamon. Chill dough, then roll into balls about the size of a walnut and then roll them in the mixture of 2T sugar and 2t cinnamon, bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees

Well it wouldn't taste as good, but it goes there anyway, so I guess that is a better shortcut.
