What is the typical crowd level during the first couple of weeks of September vs October? I am trying to plan my trip and I remember when we were there a couple of years ago in early September it did not seem that bad.

Also, what on sight hotel would you recommend?

Thanks for your help.:)

typically after Labor Day is not bad..HOWEVER....Next year the Harry potter Expansion will be completed and that may very well change crowd patterns for awhile , so there is no way to know how busy it will be..As for which resort, it depends on what your tastes are.The 3 current ones ( Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and Portofino Bay) are all deluxe resorts and come with the Resort Guest Express Pass perk and early entry .The newer resort is value/moderate( Cabana bay) will not have the express pass perk, but will have early entry.

HP2 will definitely change the past crowd patterns...in a BIG way!

No one can guess at this point. It won't be slow I can almost guarantee you.

Thanks for your help. I will really need to stay in one of the 3 hotels then. Just need to figure it which one. It will just me and my husband and 2 weeks of just together time.:thumbsup2

Portofino is the more secluded and quiet than the other 2.There are still lots of kids and families ( we stay there as a family), but not as many as the other 2.I think because Portofino is very often ( though not all the time) the most expensive of the 3 resorts.

Well, we started looking at Oct and found no onsite rooms. So we settled for Sept 7th thru the 20th at Loews Royal Pacific. Sounds nice. Really excited. Now I just have to start working more to finish paying it off.:goodvibes
