Help linking a Disney resort stay

Are there any tips with trying to speed up linking a resort reservation that’s not booked directly through Disney? I booked through Amex travel for the Riviera this weekend and I can’t link the reservation to MDE yet. Normally I wouldn’t care too much but with the theme park reservation system it makes a big difference when booking the parks now. I’m also an AP and could only book Friday to go to the park but can’t get Saturday but I could if I was a resort guest. Any tips would be welcomed. Thanks

Sometimes it can take up to 72 hours. I have called Disney in the past for help- but was told I had to wait. (This was when booking Coronado Springs through Expedia).
