We used the military salute 4 day park hoppers last spring, and then again in the fall (Nov/Dec 2010) when the promotion was renewed after the original expiration date. We are heading back to the World on Fri, and dh went into ITT today to buy regular 5 day park hoppers. HOWEVER the ITT people insist he can now get a new batch of military salute tickets as 2011 is a new promotion???

I think at most we can use 2 (since we used 4 in Nov), but they are adamant we can get and use 6 new ones??? HELP, we don't know what to do! I don't want to plunk down for the military tickets and then not have them work when we get there, then have to pony up for 5 day tickets before we can come back to ITT and get it straightened out? On the other hand if I can save some $$$ I am all over that!

Anyone have experience with using the military tix in late 2010 and then again in 2011?? ITT Camp LeJeune insists it can and is being done?

I'd suggest calling Shades of Green. Since they are right there on site, if it's happening and working, they'd know. These promos seem to be running in conjunction with the fiscal year, so if your trip last year was after 1 Oct 2010, then according to the rules you *shouldn't* be able to get more than 2 more. I think your ITT is wrong, but it's worth a phone call, I suppose.

Thanks, that's what I think too, but they actually got really huffy insisting they knew and we didn't. And that the promos run calendar year not fiscal. Waiting to hear back from a couple of places for clarity...

The following was added yesterday to the official internal ticketing notice about the Armed Forces Salute Tickets:

"Guests may participate in this offer as often as they wish as long as no more than six (6) tickets are sold in each transaction."

So there is no longer any limit, although the number of tickets activated by a service member will still be tracked.

thank you for your response here and on the other threads!

Just to clariry that I understand this correctly. We are a family of five traveling to WDW in September for eight days. Currently we have a normal Magic Your Way Package reserved because the four day tickets didn't help us. However, if I am understanding your post correctly then we can purchase 5 of these tickets on the day we arrive and four days later purchase 5 more? Please say it is so as this will save us several hundred dollars! :cool1:
