I decided at the last minute to take some visiting relatives to Disneyland Paris from Newcastle in August along with my siblings who are both in Uni.

I spent a lot of time online looking for deals for accommodation, travel etc and now desperately need your help.

There will be 7 of us in total, 3 Adults, 1 teen and 3 children (11yrs, 9yrs and 6yrs). I found it hard to find accommodation for 7 people and the best option is to book 2 rooms which works out more expensive.

I have found some self catering apartment near paris and some in paris central on airbnb from £700 for 7 nights (most of the cheaper ones require we use the sofa in the living room). Most of the nicer ones and hotels are over £1500

Eurostar is doing a deal at the moment so will cost £56 per person if bought before the 24th June. The cheapest flight from London and is £87 per person. Newcastle airport flights cost more and starts from £200 per person. I am yet to work out the trip to London if using Eurostar.

I am now left with the theme park tickets and would like to have more than a day at the park but have found this very pricey as well. The 20th anniversary ticket seems great but when we pay for more than a day for 7, it begins to add up.

I would like advise on how we can utilize a day trip instead and spend 4 nights instead of 7 to cut down on cost of accommodation. If you can get deals for 2 day theme park ticket, this will help. We also hope to see Paris as well because we have never been to Paris and this is our first ever trip to Disney land.

We are hoping to travel on the 5th August, as my relatives arrive the UK on the 4th August and will need to rest a day before going to Disneyland from a long haul flight.

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

you can get 2-day consecutive use park hopper tickets for DLP, valid up to end of September, for 59 euros each, through cemultiavantages.com

wow thanks a lot. I am so glad I found this forum. I noticed site in french but used google translate, how will I receive the park tickets? I noticed on sign up it directed me to a subscription page for 20 euros, is this a subscription only service?

Is the main reason for your trip DL or will you be spending more time in the city and just heading out to DL once or twice?

I ask because if the majority of your trip will be spent at Disney then maybe you're better to look at accommodation in Val d'Europe. There's also a Marriott village timeshare place nearby that could be good for you. I don't know much about it though someone else here will.

Yes you have to pay a E20 fee for a years membership of the site. For the number of tickets you want it would still work out cheaper to pay the fee and buy the tickets from them. We have used them in the past and our tickets were sent to us, it cost about E7 for postage and we got them about 10 days after we placed our order.

If you decided you wanted longer at Disney the same site sells annual passes - fantasy passes are E125 and for each adult pass you buy you can get one for a child under 12 for E35. These passes give you access to EMH and a 10% discount in shops and restaurants. They have no blackout days in August so could be used for whichever days of your trip you wanted. :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice. We will be spending 2 days at DL and the rest sight seeing in Paris. I have thought about accommodation in Val d'Europe, not found a good deal yet. I am not sure about local train/metro and cost from Paris to DL. I need to find out.
