Help! last minute ADR after animal kingdom

HI on Friday dec 14 we will be at animal kingdom for the day. Iw as going to head over to trails' end for dinner but have been reading some not so great reviews. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I will be there with my 5 and 8 year old who are good eaters. this where I already have adr's for
Chef mickey
chrystal palace
Norway princess
coral reef
50's cafe
wolf gang puck

I do have a park hopper. I don't nmind going to a resort restaurant either

we are doing Liberty tree Tavern in MK. I heard the Sci fi diner is good. you have most of the places we are eating we are also going to try boatwrights. I have DS 5&7 and DD 13.

Whispering Canyon is fun, but you'll see negative reviews for that as well (just like every other place at WDW). Personally, I'd go with my gut and stick with Trail's End. There had to be some reason you chose it, and I wouldn't let a few others' opinions sway me from finding out myself. And what if you change based on my recommendation and you hate it? I couldn't live with myself.

That is a long way to go, though.

Whispering canyon cafe is great I heard ..We are going to give it a try. We were going to go then I changed my mind then changed back.They do some really wacky stuff there like if you ask for straws they throw you a bunch, and not as many as you need but like thirty of them.

As for the trails End I haven't eaten there in 7 years but we ate there all the time the last time we went because we stayed right there and we loved it. i do have to agree with the other person that said you will always get mixed reviews. I have seen people just love a place and then a couple others just hate it.

If you're already at AK that day, why don't you eat around there? We did Boma for dinner on our AK day. There's also Yak and Yeti now..That' where we'll be eating in Jan. This is at the request of my kids..Personally, I have trouble eating somewhere with Yak in the name
