Well, I'm hoping you can help. Please bear with me I have no idea what happened. I was using the easyshare program for kodalk and put some pictures inthe picture tray to print for my MIL. Well I clicked remove them from my collection by mistake. I thought I was just removing one and everything from the tray was gone. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Can they be saved? I know I should have been paying more attention doing to many things at onece. please tell me they are saveable. thanks.

They should be saved in C:\Users\(Your Name)\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures\

If not, look at another collection and right click on it to find the location

He is right on! If you still cant find them you can do a search for *.jpg and it will bring up every single picture on the hard drive so be warned it could take a few minutes.

Usually when you remove a file or folder from the collection using Easyshare, it's only removing them from the Easyshare organizational tree; not from the computer. SO don't worry.

Use the methods everyone mentioned. They are there. :)

Thanks all. I couldn't find them on the c drive so I'm going to do a search for
a *.jpg file. As always you guys are so helpful. :thumbsup2

In the search there might be some different options make sure you have it check non indexed folders and hidden files also if there are available, they might be under advanced search.

The * is a wildcard so that when you search it tells window find *=any title
So *.jpg finds any file regardless of title that ends in the extension of .jpg
You can use this to search for lost music files like *.mp3 etc etc

Well I found my pictures Thanks so much. Now for a really dumb question. Can I somehow put them back into my easyshare program?

Since you know where the folder is see if you can import that folder and it should add them to your albums again.

Its been awhile since I used Easyshare but Im sure there is a option to either add or import that folder to the collection.

Here I found this maybe it will help

From Your Computer
Step1
Double click the "Kodak EasyShare" icon on your computer's desktop.
Step2
Select "Add Photos" in the top left corner of the screen.
Step3
Choose the folder on the computer where the pictures are currently stored.
Step4
Click the plus sign next to the folder to expand it and see its contents. The photos will appear in a box to the right of the folder names.
Step5
Find and select the photos you want to upload to Kodak EasyShare.
Step6
Hold down the "Control" key to select multiple photos in a specific folder with your mouse.
Step7
Click the "Add Pictures" button when you are finished making your selections in each folder. You'll have to upload the contents of one folder before selecting pictures from another folder.
Step8
Hit the "Done" button when you are done uploading.
Step9
View your uploaded photos in your Kodak EasyShare albums.

Thanks you so much Dr_Zero, You are my Hero!!!!!!!!!!!!! :worship:

Doc Z, I don't onw a Kodak camera, so I'm not familiar with the EasyShare application, but could this also be done by highlighting the files in My Computer or Windows Explorer, then dragging them into the EasyShare window? Just a thought; I'm always looking at alternative methods to do anything on computers.

I havent used easyshare in several year so I honestly dont remember I do know that if you just put them in the folder without going through easyshare it didnt see them.

I like software like easyshare and picture project in some ways but other times they are just to persnickety for my taste. So I just put stuff in folders my self and use windows to look at them and Paintshop Pro or Capture NX to tweak them.

I have two Kodak camera and have a dock for them you just pop them on hit the transfer button they get copied over for you, makes it pretty easy.

With the Nikons I just pull out the cards and use a reader vs hooking up the cables.
