I want to really enjoy MVMCP. Its me, dh, mil and 4 year old twin dd. I can't decide which night to go. What would you do, if you were looking at a night with the least crowds?

Sunday, 12/4
Tuesday, 12/6
Thursday 12/8

If I go on Sunday, I could get the AP discount, but savng a few bucks doesn't matter to me if its going to be more crowded. I know my girls will want to ride some rides, but I want to see the Parade and the shows that are only going on during the party. Is it so crowded that I need to do it in 2 nights? I was also planning on hitting MK on either Tues or Thurs and maybe for a few hours Sat. before we leave.

I really want to order the tickets so I need your expert help!!! :goodvibes

Thanks!!!!!

Tuesday, Dec. 6th is going to be your least crowded night. It's also the night we'll be there!

I don't think you will have a problem with crowds any of those nights. My choice would be tues or thurs. as the mk is usually busier on the weekend. We have gone in early dec for the past few years and have found it to be a wonderful time to be in the world. No matter which night you pick you'll have a great time.

We were having the same dilemma and decided to go on Dec 4th. We have also decided that if we really, really like it that will will try and get tickets for the 6th as well and just rearrange our schedule for that day :flower:

If you're looking for least crowded, your best bet is probably Tuesday. We locals tend to hit the Sunday or Thursday ones more often since they're closer to weekends. :teeth: JMHO.

On a day when we want to hit MK for the day would Tuesday or Thursday be a better "day" for the parks or Wednesday when there is no party.

Thanks!! You guys are awesome :cheer2:

I hear that a non-MVMCP day is lighter, especially in the late afternoon.

We had the same choice, and we picked the 6th, thinking that Tuesday would perhaps be the least crowded. We are going back the next evening for EMH at MK and to see the regular parade, etc.

This will be our first MVMCP.

See you in the World---- :earsgirl:

Go Tuesday the 6th. It won't be as crowded as the other two. Have a wonderful time! Done the MVMCP twice before and just think it is amazing! :cheer2:

Go on either the Tuesday or Thursday nights. If you can, do both. You will love it.

We have done MVMCP on Sundays the last 3 years and always had a great time. Crowds were not bad, we were able to ride everything, see the shows and watch the Cristmas parade. We will be doing the party again this year on Sunday Dec. 4.

We're going on Tues, Dec. 6 too! Seems to be several dis board members going that night! :Pinkbounc

Hate to sound like a broken record but Tues. Dec. 6th prob. your best bet.
Oh by the way One night is enough IMO.

I've been on both Tuesdays and Thursdays and didn't notice much of a difference in crowds. But here's why you should go on Tuesday: If it rains on Tuesday, you will still have Thursday night to go. That happened in '02 (I think). The parade was called off, it was raining buckets, I can remember trying to watch the fireworks and water was just pouring down my face---we could hardly see! They were giving people the option of going another night or getting a refund. SO if this happens on a Tuesday, you can take them up on the offer of going on Thursday.
