Ugh, never again - DS will only use iTunes cards.
He used my debit card to make a $10 purchase, well it went through three times!
I called, was told to go to apple.com/support/iTunes - I did, when I log in I'm told - Sorry your session has expired. Please sign in again using your blah blah blah.
Ideas?

Try contacting apple a couple more times. In the meantime, follow whatever procedures your debit card issuer has for disputing charges.

Regarding the support page - turn off any ad-blocker, popup blocker, etc in your browser and clear your cookies and cache. If that doesn't help, try using a different browser.

There's also a possibility that the duplicate charges will disappear. I've had that happen with online billing to debit cards several times.

I only have one email receipt, so they may drop off on their own.
Seems the Sorry your session expired issue is cause I'm on my phone, not connected to wifi, I need wifi, even better a computer.

I had a duplicate charge issue with Itunes. They refused to drop the duplicate (it was $7.99) so I contested with my credit card company. Itunes has now blocked that credit card number. How nice of them.

I like Apple products, but Itunes is another story.

I don't blame them. Not saying this is what happened in your case, but I am sure people buy music and then dispute the charges and get the charges reveresed.

I had my account hacked and a punch of weird music Downloaded about $30 of itunes credit. They did reverse the purchases and I did get my credit back.

So we took that CC off the iTunes account & ONLY use iTunes cards now.
I called my credit card & reported the fraudulent charges, so no issues.

Our ITunes account has been hacked more times than I can count. I would never put a credit card on it, much less a debit card. ITunes cards only! I had to go through my credit card company to get the fraudulent charges off the first time too-ITunes is no help at all.

Edited to add OT-I would never trust Apple pay either. No way I would trust Apple with any of my credit card numbers if they can't straighten out ITunes in the years that it's been around.

I don't agree. They charged my credit card twice for $7.99, for the exact same app. If they had bothered to do any research about the purchase, they would have realized the error.

I also filed several complaints with the Itunes Customer Service Department, which were never answered.

I am not likely to buy an app again, unless it under $1.00.
