Sorry Willow...but you started it by saying that your father HAD to go because he didn't want you to be alone. You were most upset because your ROMANTIC trip would be ruined.
You will soon learn that here at the DIS, people are very happy to give advice...which is what you wanted.
The drama of your original post leads me to believe that you posted a little prematurely and didn't explain your situation quite clearly. In the future, don't ask if you don't want responses. People here are free to say what they like....even if we disagree.
