Check sites/TA's both here and there. Often tickets are actually cheaper from that part of the globe to here using an Asian airline.

If you find the cheapest tickets on something like expedia, go to that airline's actual website and see if it's cheaper there. We found cheap cross country tickets on expedia for United, and when we went to United's website, they were $15 cheaper each because there wasn't a booking fee that expedia charges.
