Help! I think I made a mistake!

Someone told me today that there are often cheerleading competitions in May and that makes the parks even more crowded. We are going May 29-June 4.

I know we will hit the tail end of Memorial Day weekend and Stars Wars Weekend the next, but we have a plan around that. Does anyone know of anything else going on?

I believe that the June 4 weekend is the Gay Day Celebration in all the parks but usually centered on the MK.

I thinkn that you would have to research long and hard to find a week or weekend where there wasn't some sort of tournament, competition. convention or reunion. There are cheerleaders, school bands, gymnasts, soccer players, etc. etc. Some obviously have more impact than others.

Cheering Nationals SHOULD be over by then, even when I was doing competitive cheering I don't think it EVER went to Memorial Day weekend. Mid-may yes that late...I don't think it ever did.

But there are confrences/tournaments etc. there ALL the time so your more likely to run in to some group or another.

Yep, you're right. Although June 2nd, the chosen park is MGM and June 3rd is Epcot. June 4th is Islands of Adventure. It will be busy, so be prepared!!

Last year I remember seeing cheerleaders around the park. It still wasn't that crowded.

And, the cheerleader competitions could be a huge bonus if you're going with any teenaged boys!
