HELP, I rented pts. from someone and don't remember who

OK, I am an idiot for sure. I rented points from someone on here months ago, for our December trip, do BCV! 60 pts! I need to make final payment on them and I have NO idea who it was. I have the paperwork somewhere, but can't find it right now (having issues with MICE and am too afraid to dig too deep for them )

Check your "sent" folder in email or maybe you kept a contact in your DIS board PMs?

If the reservation has been changed over to your name already, you may be able to back track through MS as well. I know non members aren't suppose to call but seems like a reasonable exception to me.

I would be VERY disappointed if MS would give out ANY information about a member to a non-member calling for help. The member's name, address or ANY other personal information should NOT be provided without permission (written) from the member - in addition to the recent policy limiting MS contact to members only.

Hopefully, the member will send a contact email reminding the renter that final payment is due. Actually, I think I'd be digging deep for that paperwork to try and make payment in a timely fashion.

Mice or not, put some gloves on and find those papers!! I think checking all of your e-mails and can you possibly use the "search" on these boards to help. Ask on the technical board, maybe there are some wizards who could find the original thread.

Some of the "wizards" have already searched for the original thread, but there is none since no reply was ever made on the R/T board- possibly just a PM or email but the "wizards" have no access to those sources.

I am a DVC Member actually and will try this. I don't have any email or PM records at all, that is why I posted. I just didn't worry about it, since I have the confirmation from her, but now can't locate it.

Oh and Mickey's little cousins are ALL GONE...poor things!

In this situation I don't think it's a big deal for them to give out basic info but if they had a problem, MS could contact the member in lieu of giving out the info. So I still think it's worth a try.

I am so not a computer geek but I swear AOL keeps every email addy it ever saw. Can you go through your address book to see if any of the email addys sound familiar?
