Ok Here is what I have
2 adult and 1 kid GAD
1 unused 7 day ticket (not hopper)
1 adulT AND 1 KID TICKET FROM 2004 with maybe one day on it and didn't use the waterpasses at all.

I'm going around aug 28-sept Sept 6 I am flexible with my time escept the kids start school the day after labour day so I need to be home then

I've looked at Coranodo or maybe bonnet creek. i always rent a car.

If i was to get dining I'd want the quick service as it suits us better.

I am so confused
I was thinking of up grading the 2 GADs to a 7 day and then using the old 7 day ticket and using the remaining GAD as a fast pass option for one day.
The old ticket belonged to my now 11 year old- can she still use and I buy a new waterpark for my 7 year old?
But now I jsut don't know what to do

I'd upgrade the GAD to how ever many days you want; use that for the 2 adults & 1 child ticket and let 11yo use unused 7 day (or whoever doesn't have a GAD ticket)

Use the old tickets for entry into the water parks and buy a ticket for the others that need it. If the old ticket was 11yo have it changed to an adult ticket and buy child's waterpark.

The extra day on your old passes won't be much benefit; you could use them and get less days on the other passes you buy but the cost difference in 6-8 days isn't significant. Might just hold onto those days in case you want to use them in the future.

Thanks- we are only a family of 3. 1 adult, 1 preteen and 1 kid
For some reason when i ordered my tickets last time with visa points they sent me 4 tickets

You might want to look at the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky in the TPA&S Forum. Especially the items bolded in the list below.

I can give you a few guidelines that might help. If you're trying to save the most money now, then what you proposed makes sense... Use the existing 7 day ticket and upgrade two of the GAD's to 7 day tickets. Unfortunately the remaining GAD will expire in December, but you can use it for fastpasses as you suggested.

Alternately, to save more money in the long run (but spend a bit more now) you could continue to save your existing 7 day ticket and upgrade all three of your GAD's to 7 day tickets. You'd spend a bit more out of pocket now, but you'd still have the 7 day ticket available for a future trip.

The old ticket belonged to my now 11 year old- can she still use?

Yes, a child's ticket that was originally used by a child that now qualifies as an adult can still be used by that child. You can go to guest services and they'll upgrade the ticket to an adult ticket or if your child could still pass for a 9 year old, just use it as is at the gate. Note that it doesn't make sense to use one or two park days that might be left on this ticket on this trip. You would only save $3 per day by buying a 5 or 6 day ticket instead of a 7 day ticket. Instead you should save those park days for a shorter (1, 2, or 3 day) trip in the future.

Although, do ask at guest services how many days remain on those tickets and write it on the back of the ticket. Disney policy seems to keep changing as to whether they'll give out that information over the phone and if you're trying to plan a trip during a time when they won't give out the information it could be a bit frustrating.

and I buy a new waterpark for my 7 year old

If you just plan to go to a water park for one day, then it's cheaper to just buy a seperate 1 day waterpark ticket for your 7 year old. If you plan to go two or more times, then it's cheaper to just add the water parks option to her park ticket.

HTH,
Brett
