We have our vacation all planned, booked and paid for. Flight from Boise, DLH and character breakfasts ( 6 and 4 yr olds) and everything else. NOW...my 22 yr old son and his GF have changed their minds, and YES, now they want to go with us. Anyone have good ideas/places on where I can piece together a package for them now? They will have to stay offsite, but no rental car so it'll have to be close close close. They will each need a one day ticket into the park, park hopper would be good but not mandatory. Id like their flight in to be with us, but they fly home three days before us so that one will be easier. Also... GF is 18. Can I call her a child (she is one!) and get any reduced rates?? Thanks in advance.

By Disney standards, you are no longer a child at the ripe old age of 10! They could stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn or the Desert Inn & Suites right across the streets if you are looking for a real savings, although the Fairfield Inn and the Howard Johnson are close as well and I have heard they are wonderful!
It's never too late to get tickets. I don't know of any way to get discount on 1-day passes tho. I think (but am not sure) that you get the same price if you buy 1-day online, over the phone or at the gate. I don't know if there are 1-day hoppers, so hopefully someone else will answer that one.
I've faced a simialer situation having someone join a trip and to get him on the same flight I just called the airline. The plane had room, so he flew with us and left two days earlier. His ticket was $50 more than the rest of ours tho. I suggest you call your travel agent if you used one, and if not, just call the airline themselves. Another thing to do which would probably save money would be to go to Expedia and try to pin down that flight number for their tickets. This could be a little more time consuming to find the right combo for your situation.

Are you a AAA member? They might have a package. You might have to piece this together. Southwest has some cheap fares.. do they fly out of Boise?

I agree with the two hotels mentioned. They are right across the street. Go directly to their websites though. www.parkplaceinnandminisuites.com or www.anaheimdesertinn.com Those have their cheapest rates.

As far as tickets. The best deal right now is to do a 3 day park hopper. Adults pay kids prices until the end of April. These need to be purchased in advance though. Any Disney Store or Safeway in California will have them. Another option is to CALL getawaytoday and order your tickets for pickup. You will save yourself the $15.00 fee for sending. They will still charge you $10.00 for processing though. A 3 day pass is $119.00.

I hope that helps. Sounds like you will have a great time!

On Disney's website for $79. Not a great bargain, but if you don't need a 2 or 3 day ticket there isn't really any sense spending the extra $40 each. Air from Boise is currently pretty high, almost $300 although with searching cheaper flights at less desireable times can be found. Southwest Airlines had LAX on a DING fare yesterday but it was only for the month of February. You might want to register for that and keep watching, something may come up.

5 days to Disneyland and counting..... :cool1:

smiles Patty
