I am now addicted to Starbucks type coffe-lattes, cappuchino-whatever. Do any of the resorts offer this????:confused3

I feel your pain! They do serve Starbucks at the Dolphin but just coffee not the specialty drinks. The ones at Kona are blech, very watered down but the pressed pot coffee is awesome and nice and strong.

There are many coffee stands throughout the parks that make a pretty good mocha and lattes and such..it aint Starbucks but it is better than nothing

This has always been funny to me because we are from the Pacific NW and we have a starbucks or coffee stand on every corner and in every Safeway. When we were in WDW our first stay we tried to find a coffee stand and could not find one coffee place or starbucks. I went in to a large grocery store near WDW to get those small bottles of starbucks and they did not know what I was talking about. Now I take my own coffee, freeze a bottle of creamer before we leave, and just make my own (not the greatest but better than nothing).

There is a Starbucks located across from DTD in the Hilton hotel. It is a 5 minute walk from the first bus stop at DTD. After you get off the bus the hotel is across the street and to the left. There is also an ice cream parlor in this hotel. As well as a Bennihan (misspelled sorry) restaurant.

OOPS looks like it is closed. It was there in 2007 but I did a search and could not find it. SORRY

Another idea might be to buy some at your local store and brew it in your room.

Well I'll just have to take packets of white chocolate "hot choc" mix and add that to regular coffee-I guess!!

Honestly I am almost more excited about the trip I am planning for 2010 or 2011 to Universal because I will be able to get Starbuck's LOL.

I have been giving this a lot of thought because I NEED my morning latte...I am not a regular coffee kind of girl. I also want to have a few beers in the room but my favorite is from a local brewery here in Tucson.

I think I am going to ship a box to the hotel and include a 6-pack of the beer I like and 1 or 2 or those starbucks iced coffee cans that come in packs of 4 in addition to some other groceries. If you like those you could either ship them before or see if one of the grocery delivery companies has starbucks.

There's a Starbucks here in Burlington, and the weather here is a lot better over the summer than in Orlando.

:)

HA HA...no I can get Starbucks here at home. I just meant that I really like my morning latte and it won't be possible at WDW.

I get a cappucino every morning at the Pepper Market at the CSR. No, it's not Starbucks, but it does in a pinch (and I have at least two a day while at home in Chicago at Starbucks). Also, DH has driven us to the Starbucks in the mall a few times during our trips so that I don't go totally stir crazy.

Believe it or not, one of the first things I did when we decided to go to WDW was to locate the all the Starbucks in the area. Needless to say, my family was not at all surprised. :rotfl2:

The bad news, there are no Starbucks in WDW. There are a couple in Celebration, and more along I-4. As a substitute, I'm going to try McDonalds - here in Seattle they actually make good coffee and there is one close to our vacation home.

Could someone please tell me, do they allow you to bring outside drinks in an open container (like a cup of coffee) into the park with you? Or will I have to slurp it down before I go through the turnstile?

Can only speak for caffinee of the soda sort but at Universal I was able to bring my bottle of Dr.Pepper to at least the turnstile.

Starbucks recenty opened a drive thru on 535 @ Vistana, about 4 miles from DTD between Hotel Plaza and World Center Dr. Still pretty new, so kinda slow and really good service :goodvibes

I usually stop either at Starbucks or McDonalds (love the ice coffee) and have had no problems taking them into any of the parks. The only comment I hear...... "where's mine" :confused3

I have also gotten lattes around WS in America and near Canada, and have enjoyed them every time :) and I do consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob:cool1:

I'm so glad this topic has come up! I am just a "one cup a day" girl, but with late nights and ealy mornings at Disney, I NEED a Starbucks "buzz" to keep up with the pace! The "fake" coffe served at Disney and in the food courts won't do it. I'm staying on site... so I don't have the option of cruising over to the mall. Does anyone know if the lattes and such served in the parks or hotels really have the caffeine I need? I'm wondering if they are made with the same coffee (Is it Nestea?) company that Disney has contracted with. If so, they're giving the flavor and foam, but not the wake-up call I need to keep awake! I can't imagine that if they have a beverage contract they use other "good" coffee just for these drinks- I'm worried they are just the "stir-in" variety. I'm staying at Wilderness Lodge and I saw that I can get lattes and capps at Whispering Canyon in the morning and I wonder if they're worth the money.
